Philippines should be free (as should all states) to make adjustments as benefiting the citizenry. Traitors pose an existential threat to the citizenry and state, so disregarding them as human beings (as Characterized by the citizens) makes perfect sense. And allows for effective solutions so problems you get tied up in applying irrelevant philosophical ideals to in an situationally inappropriate context
