tumbleweed rank	Mon Apr 09 06:03:04 2018 not clear he ever really knew, as his wife noted, why would he let Sandusky around his own kids that last minute phone call was another unfair bit as they provided nothing on the caller's credibility, could've been Bobby Bowden upset at Paterno taking his record... plus even if true who knows how credible he sounded to Paterno at the time, he's probably heard tons of people talking shit over the years and why would they go to Paterno & only Paterno anyway

Thats why he has the dream sequence of him drowning in the pool, his kids couldve been victimized but he chose to look the other way. Obviously the films opinion of paterno not definitively factual.
