rank | Sun Feb 02 23:02:58 2020 Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross says China’s coronavirus ‘will help’ bring jobs back to U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said the Chinese coronavirus — which has killed 171 in China and infected more than 8,100 people — could “help” to bring jobs to the United States because companies will be moving operations away from impacted areas. During an appearance Thursday morning on Fox Business, Ross said that he didn’t “want to talk about a victory lap over a very unfortunate, very malignant disease,” and expressed sympathy for the victims. But he said the pneumonia-like virus would be a consideration for American businesses that are scrambling to determine how the outbreak will affect their supply chains. He pointed to the 2003 SARS epidemic, the “African swine virus” and now coronavirus as “another risk factor that people need to take into account.” http://www.../wilbur-ross-coronavirus-jobs/ Sure, they may have the Swine virus in Africa and the Coronavirus in China. But doesn’t the USA have the AIDS virus, measels, gun violence, and opioids? |

rank | Sun Feb 02 23:17:24 2020 I think coronavirus is being blown a bit out hand, I dont see this effecting China in a huge manner for an extended period of time. |

rank | Sun May 03 15:39:25 2020 If its blown out of hand and if the virus won’t effect China in a huge manner, then there’s no reason for the USA and Australia to worry then? |

rank | Sun May 03 16:56:08 2020 It looks like the US was counting on to GET JOBS, but instead they have now lost 30 million jobs or something. They should have listened to WHO when they gave the warning. |

rank | Sun May 03 17:34:27 2020 But it's tough to be wrong all the time (like Retard Rod was). This is one of the reasons why habebe is Redtard Rod 2.0. Though he's not wrong all the time, he does make a good attempt at it. |

rank | Sun May 03 18:32:30 2020 I mean extend it out to whenever the pandemic is over, and it's not proven wrong - yet. One could even be particularly stubborn and claim that even though when all is said and done there are less jobs around by a big margin, there are in fact a lot more jobs that once were the sole sphere of China and other outsourced nations over the last couple of decades. Lose 25 million jobs overall, gain 5 million in manufacturing stuff that used to be manufactured in China, and this claim could still be argued as technically correct. |
