rank | Thu Mar 26 12:19:21 2020 2 Names for the Virus. What the disease is called. Figure the title for these threads should be accurate before Rugian injects some racist-adjacent nonsense. |
Pillz
rank | Thu Mar 26 12:39:37 2020 Why do you have posting privileges. |
Dukhat
rank | Thu Mar 26 12:43:40 2020 All you have to do is pull the trigger next time you put that gun inside your mouth, Pillz. Pull it and kill yourself alike a good little incel. |
Habebe
rank | Thu Mar 26 12:48:29 2020 While I agree Trump is trying to keep the narrative that the disease came from China. Calling it racist that someone calls it the China virus or the Wuhan virus is like calling SK racist for stopping travel to China due to disease, which happened. |
Dukhat
rank | Thu Mar 26 13:04:21 2020 I didn't say it was racist. I said it was racist adjacent. Travel restrictions aren't racist either. They make sense but they are also shitty measures since it's so easy just to change your connecting flight which is why they don't really work very well past a few days. We should've had health checks and filtered out people at airports. They should've had easily available COVID-19 testing since February so we could've suppressed the disease with tracing. Those are the primary reasons why we now have a huge fucking recession and everybody lost their job. If we had done these 2 things, we would've had a small slowdown like South Korea did. |
Habebe
rank | Thu Mar 26 13:12:39 2020 We both know the biggest ( or one of) reason he keeps the terminology going os because China has been trying to spin it as a US disease. Hit for tat of you will. |
Pillz
rank | Thu Mar 26 14:37:07 2020 The only incel on this board is you, cuckhat. At least Seb is obviously accepting of his wife's lovers. Youre all angst and trigger warnings |

Nimatzo
rank | Thu Mar 26 16:10:13 2020 This reminds me of when Jergul was triggered by me calling using Orca and not Killer Whale. |
jergul
rank | Thu Mar 26 16:21:27 2020 Nimi lol, your recollection is flawed. I triggered you calling it a dolphin. So indeed, this should remind you of how Trump remembers things :D. |
jergul
rank | Thu Mar 26 16:22:34 2020 Using its latin name is not even pretentious given its widespread use. |
Nimatzo
rank | Thu Mar 26 17:00:28 2020 Why would you be triggered by someone correctly pointing out that Orcas are dolphins? But no, it was Orcas. |
Habebe
rank | Thu Mar 26 17:20:49 2020 Ah yes the seapig. |
Rugian
rank | Thu Mar 26 17:42:11 2020 Dukhat, What does Xi Jinping's dick taste like? Do you find it enjoyable? Pretty telling that you are openly siding with the Chinese Communist Party against your own country here. I guess TDS can be that potent. |
obaminated
rank | Thu Mar 26 17:43:16 2020 dukhat, do you think the term "spanish flu" is racist adjacent? |
Rugian
rank | Thu Mar 26 17:45:05 2020 Anyway, just to set the record straight... The CHINESE virus originated in China, not the US as PRC officials claim. Naming a virus after its location of origin is common practice anyway, but if the PRC wants to try and gaslight the world into believing the virus came from the West, we need to have a response to that propaganda war. Trump as usual is completely right here. |
Nimatzo
rank | Thu Mar 26 17:45:38 2020 Do you know why it is called the Spanish flu? |
Rugian
rank | Thu Mar 26 17:47:43 2020 Because Spanish press were the only ones extensively covering it during WWI. The virus therefore became associated with Spain and was accordingly named after it. |
Dukhat
rank | Thu Mar 26 17:47:59 2020 I'm pretty sure it wasn't the Chinese who didn't do jack shit when it came to screening passengers for this disease or having adequate testing in place to track this virus. We had 2 months and Trump just spent it all playing golf and jerking off. The cuckservative narrative now is that the Chinese attacked us with a virus that they first infected their citizens with and shut down their economy for a month to fight while letting thousands of their own citizens die. A slow moving attack that we saw MONTHS in advance. That is your fucking dumbass narrative which conveniently excuses Trump for being a stupid fucking dumbass who appointed retards to our public health services and disbanded the pandemic response team in 2017. Cuckservatives get dumber and dumber every day. |
Rugian
rank | Thu Mar 26 17:50:56 2020 Dukhat Are you fucking high? China not only completely bungled the initial response to the virus, they arrested the very doctors who were trying to bring attention to it as threats to the state. You are admiring a country that displayed both massive incompetence and totalitarian impulses in dealing with the virus. |
Paramount
rank | Thu Mar 26 18:17:22 2020 ” Do you know why it is called the Spanish flu?” I’m gonna guess because the US soldiers went to Europe in WW1 and they brought it with them. Just like they brought Corona (the US virus) to Wuhan. Since it was only Spanish newspapers who were allowed to write about US troops flu, people then wrongfully started to call it the Spanish flu. Wiki: To maintain morale, World War I censors minimized early reports of illness and mortality in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and the United States.[6] Papers were free to report the epidemic's effects in neutral Spain, such as the grave illness of King Alfonso XIII, and these stories created a false impression of Spain as especially hard hit.[7] This gave rise to the pandemic's nickname, "Spanish flu".[8][9] Historical and epidemiological data are inadequate to identify with certainty the pandemic's geographic origin, with varying views as to the origin.[1] |

rank | Thu Mar 26 19:24:49 2020 Btw. Spain: http://www...pletely-abandoned-in-care-home The Spanish military has found older residents of some care homes "completely abandoned" and even "dead in their beds," Defense Minister Margarita Robles said in a television interview on Monday. They were found as soldiers disinfected and provided emergency health care services this week to residential homes across the country. Robles did not give an exact figure for the number of dead bodies found by Spanish soldiers. With more than 39,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 2,800 deaths as of Tuesday, Spain is the second hardest-hit country in Europe. On Tuesday, 514 new deaths were registered in a 24-hour period, the worst increase since the outbreak began. Retirement homes have been particularly affected. Last week, one privately owned home in Madrid reported 20 deaths and 75 infections, claiming it didn't have adequate material to take care of the sick residents and dead bodies. While the usual protocol in Spanish nursing homes is to put the body of a deceased person in cold storage until a funeral service picks it up, bodies are now being left in beds until properly equipped staff can remove them. Speaking in a television interview, Robles said staff in some centers had left the nursing homes after cases of COVID-19 were detected. Residents were abandoned to take care of themselves, even though some were sick and in serious condition. The defense minister said the government will take action against those responsible. "We will be completely relentless and forceful with the kind of treatment elderly residents receive in these centers," Robles said. "I know that a vast majority [of centers] are fulfilling their obligations." Meanwhile, Spanish prosecutors have launched an investigation into the incidents. In Spain, around 19% of the population is older than 65; the country has one of the longest life expectancies in the world. Health Minister Salvador Illa said residential care homes are "a high priority during this time" for the Spanish government, and it will exert "maximum control" over these centers. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has called for the nationalization of all privately owned nursing homes, just as he had previously called for the nationalization of private hospitals, to help ensure better access as well as adequate staff and equipment. Over the weekend, Spain's Defense Ministry made thousands of phone calls to seniors living alone or in vulnerable situations to assess their health. |

rank | Thu Mar 26 20:14:17 2020 On the number of German corona cases and the mortality (translated) http://www...chland-so-wenige-menschen.html Virologist Christian Drosten attributed the comparatively low death toll in Germany to the numerous tests. It is estimated that there are half a million tests per week, the virologist of the Charité explained at a press conference of the Ministry of Research. |

rank | Thu Mar 26 22:30:24 2020 Zoom The US passes Italy in number of comfirmed cases. 400 to go to pass China MAGA - USA NUMBER 1! |
jergul
rank | Thu Mar 26 22:34:50 2020 We have reached a point that the only thing linear growth might show is that the number of tests done is growing along a linear path. Global growth in infections is definitely exponential. |
jergul
rank | Thu Mar 26 22:36:13 2020 Also, Hopkins needs to rescale the size of its red dots. |
Rugian
rank | Thu Mar 26 22:47:39 2020 As said before, Chinese statistics are glorified fiction. |
jergul
rank | Thu Mar 26 23:05:36 2020 All statistics on covid are glorified fiction. |
jergul
rank | Thu Mar 26 23:08:48 2020 You know china cheated the opposite way, right? They used clinical diagnosis as confirmed cases for a few days. They needed to do that to clear the backlog and excert control over people with symptoms, but without testing capacity to confirm. |
Forwyn
rank | Thu Mar 26 23:33:37 2020 "Do you know why it is called the Spanish flu?" Is this the part where we peddle one of three theories of patient zero as the absolute truth, because muh Hot Rod Spanish Flu is supposed to be a counterpoint? |
sam adams
rank | Thu Mar 26 23:42:20 2020 Mainly a function of the US having better testing then some of the other places. Italy alone probably has 5 times as many cases total, 25 times as many per capita. |
sam adams
rank | Thu Mar 26 23:43:00 2020 But socialist healthcare!!! Lol. |
hood
rank | Fri Mar 27 00:46:10 2020 The US having better testing? Who shit in your cheerios and made you retarded? |
jergul
rank | Fri Mar 27 00:52:29 2020 Sammy That would put the US about 14 days behind Italy's timeline. Its not as if you are going to escape Italy's infection levels. It just is early days for you. Exponential growth baby. 25 times as many per capita aint that much. |
jergul
rank | Fri Mar 27 01:00:06 2020 And the US is number 1! With 2000 more infections than China. Prepare for a long game. China is still losing people infected in early Febuary. |
sam adams
rank | Fri Mar 27 01:13:01 2020 "The US having better testing? Who shit in your cheerios and made you retarded?" Than italy and china, for sure. Than germany and korea, no. |
Habebe
rank | Fri Mar 27 01:21:53 2020 I had heard the Chinese tests were only 30% accurate. Now I'm not sure if that is the tests they used or were selling/donating. |

rank | Fri Mar 27 02:05:17 2020 " when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done. " ~ Trump Feb 27 " I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it. Every one of these doctors said, “How do you know so much about this?” Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for President. " ~ Trump Mar 7 (@ CDC) "Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again--just watch. He can do much better!" ~ Trump Oct 17, 2012 "Robert I'm getting a lot of heat for saying you should dump Kristen- but I'm right. If you saw the Miss Universe girls you would reconsider." ~ Trump Oct 18, 2012 "So many tweets & stories on Stewart/Pattinson Look, it doesn't matter-- the relationship will never be the same. It is permanently broken." ~ Trump Oct 19, 2012 "Everyone knows I am right that Robert Pattinson should dump Kristen Stewart. In a couple of years, he will thank me. Be smart, Robert." ~ Trump Oct 22, 2012 "Everyone is asking me to speak more on Robert & Kristen.I don't have time except to say "Robert, drop her, she cheated on you & will again!"" ~ Trump Oct 23, 2012 "Robert Pattinson is putting on a good face for the release of Twilight. He took my advice on Kristen Stewart...I hope!" ~ Trump Nov 9, 2012 "After Friday’s Twilight release, I hope Robert Pattinson will not be seen in public with Kristen--she will cheat on him again!" ~ Trump Nov 13, 2012 |

rank | Fri Mar 27 02:11:09 2020 Per capita is a pretty silly normalization for infection control. I.e. if you spot a sample of bacteria on a 10cm vs a 50cm agar jelly plate, and test two anti-microbals for their ability to slow growth, you wouldn't measure it by mass of the bacteria colony vs mass of the two respective agar plates. Rate of growth is the key indicator, and the US is I think now the fastest in the world for doubling time of infection is the fastest in the world. For deaths, it's one of the few curves that seems to have it's doubling time increase slightly rather than decreasing. |
Seb
rank | Fri Mar 27 02:12:16 2020 Similarly absolute number of infections isn't a great measure either. US probably is a number of different distinct outbreaks. |
Seb
rank | Fri Mar 27 02:14:56 2020 Hood: Nobody shat in Sam's Cheerios, hood, Sam worked long and hard to be this fucking dumb - he got there through the dint of his own effort and it is unkind and unfair to attribute the fruits of his hard labour to anyone else. His superlative achievements in idiocy are all his own. Don't take that away from him. |
Seb
rank | Fri Mar 27 02:17:10 2020 jergul: 25 times is 4 and a bit doubling periods at the current US trend rate of a 2 day doubling period, so what, 12 to 15 days? Lets call it 14. |
sam adams
rank | Fri Mar 27 02:55:34 2020 "Per capita is a pretty silly normalization for infection control." Only a retard who desperately wants to cover up the failings of the EU would say this. |
jergul
rank | Fri Mar 27 02:59:56 2020 Seb I think we should all try to be kinder. The thing about exponential growth is that it defies intuition. So every fucking thing we type has to be thought through, or it will be wrong (oddly, jergulmath seems to work somewhat still. I have no clue why). The US may have the fastest doubling rate right now, but that is testament solely to the speed at which it is ramping up testing. Confirmed positive is a function of number of tests done more than it is a function of number of infected. Which of course means that US testing rates sucked donkey balls originally. |
jergul
rank | Fri Mar 27 03:00:33 2020 Ditto to you sammy. Be kinder. |
sam adams
rank | Fri Mar 27 03:00:44 2020 Also the parts of the US most seblike... big urban cores run by retards... are the most infected. Especially new york, a city that embraces sebs most treasured traits: multiculturalism, social justice whining, and incompetence. |
sam adams
rank | Fri Mar 27 03:02:28 2020 "Which of course means that US testing rates sucked donkey balls originally." True. The CDC should all commit seppuku. They have one job to do, they were tested seriously once in 100 years... and failed. |
jergul
rank | Fri Mar 27 03:02:56 2020 Bubonic plague fake news? 0 confirmed infected in lab testing. |
sam adams
rank | Fri Mar 27 03:05:04 2020 But every european country has failed as well, but generally worse even. So its not just the cdc, but a failure of medicine and government across the world. Should be a lot of sword falling going on. |
jergul
rank | Fri Mar 27 03:07:25 2020 Sammy Its still an uncontained pandemic. Failing in that sense just puts you in one place on a timeline instead of another. We will all end up in the 40-60% infected range in the end anyway. Does it matter if it takes a week or two more or less to get there? |
Habebe

Forwyn
rank | Fri Mar 27 03:30:07 2020 "And the US is number 1!" EU has, what, 3x the number of confirmed? |
Dukhat
rank | Fri Mar 27 03:34:41 2020 Germany has done pretty well. Our CDC is the same level as the Robert Koch institute. Trump appointing evangelical retards to head the CDC caused this mess. Does anyone know who Robert R. Redfield is? He's the actual head of the CDC, not Fauci. He completely bungled the response and the early tests and then disappeared. His only claim to fame is being an evangelical and peddling some vaccine for AIDS that didn't work. Trump decided that was enough to make him the head of the CDC. *facepalm* |
Pillz
rank | Fri Mar 27 04:25:43 2020 Lol @ 60% infection This things gonna give us material to troll jergul with for years. |
jergul
rank | Fri Mar 27 05:50:14 2020 40-60% range. We do no have individual immunity from this one Pillz. I am fine with you thinking an optimistic 20-40 range if you want to. Wherever you think herd immunity will set in and start to actually curtail the spread. |

rank | Fri Mar 27 07:22:11 2020 Smarter countries will ban international travel for a long time, with similar exceptions as exist now. With South Korean inspired vector tracking. Ideally by the fall -most- international travel will recommence between civilized countries, as we all embargo countries with epidemics. Most meaning business. Tourism is going to die in a lot of places this year. It will be the most devastated industry by far. The businesses open now (whether by choice or by government mandate) will probably suffer tremendously. The massive hiring, bonuses, primes, overtime in the grocery industry is gonna cut nicely into recent profits. Lawsuits that follow will just wipe out the rest imo. Forget hospitals. Between the dead, the infirm, the traumatized, and burnt out doctors and nurses, and the lawsuits, and the lawsuits by patients/families, and the dip in nursing school enrollment were gonna see over the next few years... Hope the 3rd world burns through the virus quick because we'll be needing nurses. Theyll also figure out how to treat this more effectively and sorry, but the US & China mostly by themselves can churn out more medical equipment than we'd have needed to sterilize and ventilate the whole of India. Which we won't be doing so whatevs. Eventually by early-mid summer the US will flatten the curve. Their second wave will be effectively zero. China will, despite its best efforts, lose its strangle hold on medical manufacturing. Probably a lot of technology in general. With more testing we can easily keep this under control with limited disruption to life & industry. Itll take a couple of months to get there but we will. I'd also expect the US military to begin enforcing testing, curfews, and being largely literally repurposed as nurses. |

rank | Fri Mar 27 08:55:20 2020 US troops virus. Is this how the virus got spread first? US tropps travelling around the world and spreading the virus? rank | Fri Mar 27 11:17:44 2020 "do you think the term "spanish flu" is racist adjacent?" "Do you know why it is called the Spanish flu?" "Because Spanish press were the only ones extensively covering it during WWI. The virus therefore became associated with Spain and was accordingly named after it." So, the answer is no, provided the context there is nothing racist or derogatory with that name. The same can not be said of the "China Virus". Now I have no idea if it is "racist adjecent", but I do know it is perfectly aligned with retardation. There is aloooot of Trump dick sucking going on, alooot. And I mean well beyond the satirical level of "God emperor Trump" and "pwning the libs". No. A bunch of you fuckers like to suck his dick, just because you like sucking dick, Hot Rod level hackery not even close to "he was the least shitty option". This is a virus, it will pwn your entire country. |
Rugian
rank | Fri Mar 27 12:28:14 2020 "So, the answer is no, provided the context there is nothing racist or derogatory with that name. The same can not be said of the "China Virus"." Literally zero basis for making this wild jump to conclusions. Although I guess your defense of China makes sense given your previous post endorsing oriental authoritarianism as an ideal governing model. |
Nimatzo
rank | Fri Mar 27 12:35:45 2020 Do not deflect a direct attack on your Trump dick sucking to be a defence of China. Stay on topic. |
Rugian
rank | Fri Mar 27 12:41:12 2020 So responding to your own posts is now going off topic? Fucking lol. If you have such a problem with the term "Chinese virus," then maybe you should blame the shitbag CCP officials who started this war of words in the first place. |
jergul
rank | Fri Mar 27 13:36:10 2020 Ruggy You think we should blame the country that first tried did that? You are on the record with that? Can you imagine if the Chinese military had sent some soldiers to what became an outbreak center a few months later? Your administration would have invoked the Nato treaty because you were biologically attacked. That is the backdrop besides the war on words. The US military had sent soldiers to a Friendship something or another event in Wuhan in September. |

rank | Fri Mar 27 14:55:35 2020 "That is the backdrop besides the war on words. The US military had sent soldiers to a Friendship something or another event in Wuhan in September." It was the Military World Games which involved 10,000 military athletes from over 100 countries. Singling out the US participation as evidence that the virus came from them is asinine. Also, it was in October. Why are you so wrong about absolutely everything? |
jergul
rank | Fri Mar 27 15:02:37 2020 Ruggy More Trumpian than asinine. What? You don't like your own medicine? Thank God the outbreak did not start in the US after Chinese soldiers had been there. You might have been at war now due to that biological attack. |
Nimatzo
rank | Fri Mar 27 15:12:00 2020 Rugian Yes making nonsense conclusions because I am slapping the Trump dick out of peoples mouth is ”going off topic”. I din’t think you get it. I am not bothered I was just helping Obaminated understand why the Spanish flu and Chinese Virus are not comparable. Your defence of all things Trump and ”oriental authoritarianism” spiel instantly reveals just how deep into the dick sucking game you are invested. I already blamed the virus on bat and dog eating savages, ask Nekran and Jergul. My alibi is clear. All your alibis lead to Trumps penis. Cease and desist. |

Rugian
rank | Fri Mar 27 15:39:49 2020 Nim Are you fucking senile? Jergul went on some BS tangent about oriental authoritarian regimes being better able to contain the virus. You immediately followed that up with meandering speculation of what good are Western freedoms and liberties if they end up getting everyone killed. I was simply responding to YOUR "spiel," as you put it. I wasn't suggesting that you were saying the virus came from America, so you're wrong there as well. Fundamentally, you're just a typical Euro idiot that views the world through a narrow continental ideological prism and are incapable of seeing how Trump may have a point on this and that. Combine that with your willingness to go along with mass hysteria and your own Iranian origins (which in and of themselves point to a particular ethnic predilection for supper of authoritarian rulers), and there's not a single aspect of your mindless opinions on the Chinese virus that cant be explained away. Eat ass. |
Rugian
rank | Fri Mar 27 15:40:37 2020 Jergul Your premise is foolish. |
Nimatzo
rank | Fri Mar 27 15:59:22 2020 Rugian If whatever truth or ideal that is central to your society and culture through an act of nature also leads to your civilization collapse, then you has won the ultimate Darwin ward. My question at the end was not rethorical, but obviously revved up. It is a serious evolutionary observation. Obviously above your "my gang right or wrong" mentality, where either I am with you or against you. >>how Trump may have a point on this and that.<< "Nimatzo iChihuaha Mon Jan 06 12:20:07 He panicked, simple as that. There is no masterplan, no 4D chess, no nothing. This is so painfully obvious that I genuinely feel bad for the people who don't see it. It's like, dude, there is a turd in the punch bowl, right there, that is a fucking turd there are no two ways about it, and you keep drinking the koolaid. The USA elected Donald Trump for president and the redeeming qualities he has fits inside a thimble, and he does have them. If your domestic politics was unrestrained from checks and balances like your foreign policy, your country would be on fire from a civil war." Clearly, you are wrong. I do agree that he is right on "this and that". Aaand Rugian! And! I also consistent about the koolaid drinking. There is a non-hack level of "whatever" voter and you, well you go to 11. |
Nimatzo
rank | Fri Mar 27 16:08:00 2020 >>own Iranian origins<< Well you are correct I view this game from the perspective of someone who was born into culture that is thousands of years old and not hundreds. I observe that authoritarian regimes have a history and tradition, scretching thousands of years. Surviving some of the harshest conditions and devestating event like plagues, wars and natural disasters. Exactly what tests have Democracies been put through? None. Corona may be the first one and it is nothing in comparison. You take things for granted and are oblivious to how fragile these systems are. |
Seb
rank | Fri Mar 27 16:59:39 2020 Sam: Weren't you saying everyone should get back to work and let it move through the population? There are so very many idiots on the board it's hard to keep track. |
jergul
rank | Fri Mar 27 17:14:19 2020 Ruggy The common denominator for places that have controlled the outbreak is arguably culturally based authoritarianism. But there might be a stronger correlation with the ability to put boots on the ground. We don't really know yet. We do know the haphazard western approach is not working well. We can probably compensate with better disaster readiness for the next time. There will be a next time. I tend to view corona-19 as a dress rehersal for something truly awfull in the future (say with symptomless incubation, high transmissability and high mortality or dehabilitating health effects). |

rank | Fri Mar 27 18:55:26 2020 Sam, that's a polite way of saying it's not actually very important what you said given you regularly lie about what other people say, and you've made yourself entirely indistinguishable from a number of other idiots. If you had anything valuable to add or a distinct voice or personality on substantive issues, sure. |

rank | Fri Mar 27 21:14:14 2020 Italy 919 new deaths. Don't believe they've yet updated the number of dead they've found abandoned in nursing homes? Least I can't confirm it. But new infections and deaths are stabilizing. Canadas new cases also seems to be stabilizing, suggesting quebec has begun to get the outbreak under control for now. Rest of Canada should catch up in 2-4 weeks. Canada is reporting hospitalizations at 6%, and deaths at 1%. Almost all deaths have been seniors. |

rank | Fri Mar 27 21:38:28 2020 Makes social distancing people mad? (translated) http://www...t-in-Kraichtal;art6011,2514096 A man dressed in a knight's armor and armed with a sword triggered a police operation in Kraichtal on Wednesday evening. The 35-year-old had first rioted in front of a house and injured a 29-year-old's hand, only to finally claim to have contracted the Corona virus when he was arrested. The man first came to an estate in Burgstraße in Menzingen at around 9 p.m. due to smouldering disputes and kicked in the front door. He then left to come back shortly afterwards and riot loudly in front of the house. "He left again afterwards and returned to the estate in a medieval knight's armour and armed with a sword. Here he pushed the sword through the glass insert of the front door," said the police in a corresponding press release. In the process, he inflicted a cut on the hand of a 29-year-old man standing behind the door. When the notified police recognized him, he fled to a neighboring property, but was able to be stopped there by the patrol car crew. "The sword he held out to the officers at chest height was only put aside after repeated requests and the threat of the use of firearms," the story goes on. Immediate coercion then had to be used to arrest the 35-year-old. Another patrol then drove the accused to the police station. "During the trip, he then informed the officials that he had fallen ill with the Corona virus. Thereupon all necessary police measures were taken in the courtyard of the police station and a doctor was called in," the police continued. The 35-year-old was then taken to hospital. "The four officers who had contact with the accused were immediately released from duty. The health authorities were called in immediately." On Thursday morning the investigators were informed that - after a thorough medical examination - a disease of the 35-year-old from the corona virus could be ruled out due to the lack of symptoms. He has since been released from hospital. The man now faces several criminal charges. |

[...] Earlier, the state-run Anadolu Agency said migrants staying in a makeshift camp near the border gate were moved in buses to state guest houses where they would be quarantined. They would be moved to other regions in Turkey at the end of the quarantine, the agency reported. |

rank | Fri Mar 27 23:35:01 2020 I’ve been working from home the last 9 days. Looks like I will continue to do it for at least two more weeks or more. I ain’t gonna go out and risk dying because there is a lack of ventilators and doctors. In Italy, 44 doctors has died because they treated Corona patients. In New York, one doctor has died so far. I rather be home than laying in a bed in a Corona hospital. So, I’m gonna continue to work from home even though it starts to get boring. I wanna drink coffee with my colleagues, go out and eat lunch together, and sit at the office. |
