patom rank	Tue May 26 12:58:32 2020 Wow, there is no way a human can out run a bear. Might as well try this approach, or retreat if possible. They have poor eyesight but if you have the luck of being down wind from them it may work. They have pretty keen sense of smell.

If grizzly or polarbear territory, then fucking have a high powered rifle. I have carried around a rifle lots in that kind of territory.
