Semi local news, but it's common in the South to have inadequate drainage systems for the amount of water we get. Couple that with the soil in this area at least being way less absorbent than say PA where I grew up and flooding is regular. My personal property is a little better, but only because Ive busted my ads digging trenches, leveling ground. By next year Id like to have some French drains. Also my pond helps absorb some.extra water, when that gets full some.pipes help direct it to lowlands across the street. |

rank | Sat Sep 26 20:07:37 2020 Well, to clarify I technically live in the Florence area, bit outside of Florence city or county but its the biggest city nearby so its just easier. I pay electric for water ( well pump) which btw, pre paid electric is wierd down here there are no electric bills. Its cheap though. In the winter I spend like nothing literally less than $2 a day. Now my sister and my parents spend like 60-100 in the winter and 2-300 in summer per month. |

rank | Sun Sep 27 18:20:30 2020 Well there is the initial glance that 294 is less than 317. Than consider for China those numbers are likley undervalued. Chuna has rapidly grown with a major factor of growth being infrastructure, however useful infrastructure is not as needed there. The US on the other hand needs a lot of infrastructure, CBO ( congressional.budget office) estimates IIRC 2 trillion in spending needed that sgould have a $2.20 return for every dollar spent. The US has grossly underfunded its Infr. for 30 years. |

rank | Mon Sep 28 16:35:52 2020 The problem with much infrastructure here is much of it was built by the cheapest bidder. Roads with piss poor drainage in northern climates etc. Add to the ongoing problem of what seems to be the trend in the US of not doing any preventative maintenance, like on bridges etc. until it demands total replacement. Watched 60 min. last night and was totally in awe of how that Trump Wall was built. Great job by Trumps go to contractor http://www...I7Adys8Y0&ab_channel=60Minutes |

rank | Mon Sep 28 19:20:33 2020 I will admit though that GDP is very flawed measure of growth and is really only usefull as super rough measurement used for ballpark measurements only. Which is why Id say the EU, China and the US market wise are pretty much ties, well, China is a little behind but its so the oddball out in that it gets there by totally different means really. |
