Y2A rank	Fri Mar 26 04:05:52 2021 NJ Analysis: Large shifts towards the clown in NJ latino heavy cities: Elizabeth, North Newark, Perth Amboy, Dover, Paterson Consistent with observed results in South Texas and South Florida despite these three regions having VERY different distributions of latinos. Note that, even with the shift they are still overwhelming blowouts: Perth Amboy for example has a large +19 shift towards the clown with a vote breakout of 72/28 Biden/Clown vs 80/17 Clinton/Clown. Overall that shift was more than beat back by Biden destroying the clown in the suburbs with pretty much every Morris and Bergen county town (higher end suburbs) shifting to Biden by double digits.

Orthodox jews are already a very heavily republican constituency so it must be a mix of the clown even further maxing out that vote AND hipsters leaving these areas. For example, Borough Park with VERY FEW hipsters had shifts in the range of +20s while Williamsburg with MANY hipsters had crazy shifts ranging from +30 to +90 (that is right, I spotted a +95 shift in margin in a Williamsburg precinct). Other large (+20) shifts can be spotted in latino heavy areas of Queens (Jackson Heights, Corona, Elmhurst) and the entire Bronx east of Riverdale.

My hypothesis is that they either didn't turn out in 2016 or voted for HRC because of complicated reasons related to members of their community and their relations with them. in 2020, they just said fuck it and voted for the clown. Luckily they are capped at a certain amount of the total latino vote and the shift in the suburbs from moderate whites were more than enough to offset them.
