That's his entire schtick and he doesn't hide it. Habebe's point wasn't that Ngo is some sort of saint of objectivity, it's that he's providing coverage to a story that's largely being ignored by much larger media institutions.

CNN isn't? The organization that realized early on that there was a huge viewer base that wanted to be perpetually angry at Trump and capitalized on that by upping their anti-Trump coverage to an 11? MSNBC isn't? The organization that was already basically the Fox News for leftists, that decided to spam Russia coverage so heavily that their viewers would he shitting borscht? What's an example of an organization that ISN'T pushing a narrative, in your mind?

But in this particular case, he is reminding us of something that got very little mainstream coverage, and it something alot of people would want to know. Independent media isnt perfect but it does operate differently, there is clearly a much larger variety and can ideally get better coverage about individual topics because there is such a variety. But I'm kinda stoned so whatever.

Dont get me wrong, hes not a test pilot or a petro engineering scout or some other hard field scientist you would expect true precision from in their reports.
