I think his routine at the correspondents dinner when President Clinton was in office was one of the best. He bombed on purpose and it was great. Bob Dole tweeted "Norm @normmacdonald was a great talent, and I loved laughing with him on SNL. *Bob Dole* will miss Norm Macdonald."

Dukhat rank	Wed Sep 15 06:43:11 2021 Betty White is like 99. Bob Dole is wheel-chair bound and in his 90s. A lot of the greats are going to go soon. Dick Van Dyke. William Shatner Greatest Generation is mostly gone. ​ Norm hits me hard. He was the SNL News Host when it was still cool to stay up late. I would reuse his jokes at school the next day. Way too young to die. So many great bits that still stand up today. My favorite was his bit on the daily show when that crocodile guy died. Absolute gold.
