rank | Tue Jun 21 23:07:28 2022 Americans Pawning Items to Buy Gas With gas prices continuing to put a strain on consumers nationwide, many Americans are turning to pawn shops for help. Speaking with local news station Fox 34 News, Eilsel Garcia, owner of Pawn Texas in Lubbock, claimed that locals have increasingly turned to pawning off their personal possessions in order to afford gas. This has involved items like firearms, tools, computers, phones, video game consoles, and even items with sentimental value, like jewelry and inherited heirlooms. http://www...personal-items-buy-gas-1717156 I don’t think Trump would have let this happen. |

rank | Tue Jun 21 23:13:08 2022 I bought another 12 gauge, Remington 870, the other day. Got a great deal from someone trying to get rid of it. Wasn't even shot once, but got about $300 off retail price. :) I'll happily buy more guns as people capitulate them on the cheap. Gonna have a nice collection by the end of this. |

rank | Tue Jun 21 23:15:06 2022 Was also able to get some cheap ammo at the same show, which I was surprised. Brand new in box, at about 50% off retail price. Was surprised because it's occasionally hard to find double slugs at retail in stock. |

rank | Tue Jun 21 23:43:20 2022 Try finding ammo for a .44 automag. I have twin pistols, basically it needs to be reloaded or there is an Italian company (Ficotia_(sp)_) |

rank | Tue Jun 21 23:45:02 2022 Not any of the newer reproductions either. My Grandfather got them in the 60s. The dirty harry gun. |

rank | Tue Jun 21 23:46:44 2022 I have a few 9mms. My favorite being the 36 Luger. It needs a part though. Not sure what its called, but it keeps the spring in place. |

rank | Tue Jun 21 23:50:16 2022 Honestly, the .44 is a novelty gun. My favorite shotgun is an ugly monster. Rem 1100. The barrel blew out, some guy made a lamp out of it and my grandpop being a gun Smith, bought it for $11 and cut the barrel and added a muzzle suppressor. But the kick on it is like 80% less than a comparable gun because of that. Sound is mabey half. |

rank | Tue Jun 21 23:52:35 2022 1100s are really nice. Didn't want to splurge so I'm fine with the 870, it's not intended to be shot, God willing, just an extra for home defense. |

rank | Tue Jun 21 23:53:27 2022 My favorite shotgun is our old 16 gauge we keep stationed at the farm. Hard to find shells at times, but I like the balance of power and kick. |

rank | Tue Jun 21 23:54:28 2022 It's also an 870, IIRC |

rank | Tue Jun 21 23:55:05 2022 Lot of good memories dear hunting with that baby in the 90s. Also a lot of very cold memories sitting in the deer stand during MN winter, or close enough to it. |

rank | Wed Jun 22 00:35:38 2022 Yeah, growing up we never used rifles for deer. Being from bucks county too many houses so most areas its just too dangerous. I used rotwieller slugs (rifled) in my 1100. Actually that's not entirely true, I used alot of muzzle loader too. When I was like 12 I got interviews off of route 309, by the local NBC news. I forget his name but he kind of looked like a preppy ken doll. |

rank | Wed Jun 22 08:52:12 2022 Surprised Cherub isn't here crying about the deviousness of democrats. Raising gas prices so high, Republicans have to sell their guns to afford fuel for their huge-ass trucks which they'll then eventually have to sell for EV's when they run out of guns. It's so ingeniuous of woke libs to bring America to this. |
