But this could change the dynamics of the US relations with SA. If wr can get oil from Iran, and lidt sanctions the Iranians would be much better off and the West is less dependant on SA. |

Plus that opens a whole new can of worms since Iran will take that $ and fund Hezzbolla and you this etc. Also attacking the oil fields we are protecting.
