Not sure why Nimatzo wants to move to the USA. He might as well move to Soweto, South Africa instead. At least in South Africa they don’t hate Iranians.

And Africa may have a future as China is going to build it. Who is going to rebuild America? Look at all that junk and misery. Who is going to pick it up and clean it? Rugian? Nimatzo? Nope.

Industrial areas, especially older ones, tend to appear to be run down because by design they are not resided in by anyone. With no one to maintain the streets and with city services tending to be lax in collecting trash in these areas, it's not uncommon for them to become "blighted."

This is pretty normal. It doesn't mean the entire city has become an apocalyptic mess or even that an entire neighborhood was allowed to go to shit; it just means that the industrial zones tend to get the lowest priority for cleanup efforts.

Go three blocks up to the residential area and it appears to be just fine.

And yes, ideally this area should be cleaned up and the homeless people cleared out. But this is not at all reflective of Oakland as a whole.
