There are swing state voters that were willing to vote for Biden that weren't willing to vote for Hillary in 2016. There are even more who were willing to vote for Biden that won't vote for Kamala. As I tried to explain back then, anyone still contemplating voting for Trump is at least a little racist and misogynist because you have to look past a ton of racism and misogyny to vote for Trump. Neither of those things is a problem for Biden. He's just an angry demented old white guy ... same as Trump minus the barbecue sauce spray tan. But both of those things are massive problems for Kamala (woman, black, Asian). All those voters who had a tough choice between Biden and Trump in 2020, have a very easy choice in 2024. Every one of them is going to vote for Trump or vote 3rd party or not vote. Kamala has no way to make up those lost votes in the swing states. I'm not even sure Kamala can win the popular vote. Democrats will once again have to learn how elections work in this country, and the consequences of ignoring the realities of the electorate.

The DNC's policies have disenfranchised a huge number of people who are very motivated to turn out to support trump and the return to the years between 2016 and 2020 were dramatically different than they are now.
