There are many birds, deers, moose, cats, and bears, for an example. As I said, they can hide but they can not run. If they leave their hideouts in the woods, they will be droned, shot at, shelled, and killed.

Nothing special about Kursk, so no particular priority given to capturing areas Ukraine holds. It also holds 2% of Russian Luhansk, 37% of Russian Denetsk, and whatever for the two other oblasts Russia annexed. Its one of the reason the whole logic behind "hold on to Kursk for a better negotiating position fails". Ukraine already occupied quite a lot of what Russia thinks it owns.
