frank marshal davis, a loyal comrade of josef stalin, krushchev and the rest of the soviet scum hates America, and has even not only been quoted, but publicly admitted he thought America woulkd soon fall to the soviets (cold war times)

He has even been shown to received funds from the USSR!

This "man" (I don't consider commies "people" more a handicapped mutation that resemble parasitic infections that need "cleansing")...anywho this is the "man" that obama lovingly refers to as "a father figure" and something (well he says someone) with "hard earned knowledge" and a mentor

Alan keyes said it lightly when he called obama a "Hard-core marxist"

And this is who so many drones want for pres? lets face it his hardcore supports (other than the blacks who would vote for any dem, especially another black) are college hippies and people who care nothing about real policy

Don't even get me started on his caucasian/America hating reverend

Even the Arabs were at war with love his obama (what a shock, I'd want the enemy to have a horrible leader as well, atleast their support makes sense)

Yea, well. The word mentor throw around like this all the time, the word itself is becoming useless.

Alan Keyes is a nutbag of the highest order.

obama's own words are "Father figure" who influenced his "career and acedemic choices"

I don't know, maybe I'm just crazy like John Voight and A. Keyes (big fan of Alan btw, if we are going to have a black president, I wish were him)

Well, I have been on Amphetamines since I was 6, Adderal is my current script...this may have influenced it, but I sleep quite a bit, just in large chunks, I may sleep for 11-12 hours, but then be up for two days on just a few naps

"Although Mr. Davis does not appear to have been a constant figure in his early life, Mr. Obama in his 1995 memoir, "Dreams From My Father," presents Mr. Davis - referred to in the book only as Frank - as an important influence who gave him advice about race and college. "

I've posted other links before, so I know there are more, here is one

It's sugar-coated though IMO, "left-leaning" my ass he was an open member of the CPUSA (communist party of the usa)

Corkie, Why is that? eratic sleep patterns? or the ADD diagnoses when I was a kid? (the reason they put me on Cylert, and then later adderall because Cylert is no longer made because of liver damage issues)

You often sound a little crazy. The kind of crazy that occurs from sleep deprivation. Just an observation.
Take care.

I hate using politicians links, but here is more, wiki has more frank davis info..I'll look around for more later

Corkie, To be fair I never go longer than 72 hour without sleep, even while under the influence of of stronger phenethylamines than amphetamine (Methyldesoxyamphetamine, which really is only Amphetamine with a tweaked nitrogen atom, btw PIHKAL is a great book) but yes latley I've been sleep deprived sort of, lack of levothyroxin (t3/t4 in my blood) I have hypothyroidism which in lamens just means that my thyroid gland doesn't produce adequete hormones and I must supplement them with pills (synthroid) but I've been out for a bit

Oh well, getting tired, but don't worry, I may be crazy, but I'm a nice guy, g'night corkie

"my ass he was an open member of the CPUSA (communist party of the usa)"

No, he wasn't. If he was, he would have been lynched by the most anti-communist government in its history.

But that's not the point. The point is the relationship between Davis and Obama, isn't it? Your link did not indicate any parent-child relationship.

That's nothing there to substantiate your claim.

"No, he wasn't. If he was, he would have been lynched by the most anti-communist government in its history. "

Davis? he openly admits it (well, he DID, he's dead now) that is a FACT

And read into the links some more, or skim though obama's book (dreams of my father)

I'll go to wiki, then to bed

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Marshall_Davis

In his autobiographical Dreams from My Father, U.S. Senator and Democratic Party presidential candidate Barack Obama wrote about "Frank", a friend of his grandfather's. "Frank" told Obama that he and Stanley (Obama's maternal grandfather) both had grown up only 50 miles apart, near Wichita, although they did not meet until Hawaii. He described the way race relations were back then, including Jim Crow, and his view that there had been little progress since then. As Obama remembered, "It made me smile, thinking back on Frank and his old Black Power, dashiki self. In some ways he was as incurable as my mother, as certain in his faith, living in the same sixties time warp that Hawaii had created."[15]

Gerald Horne, a Communist Party historian and contributing editor of Political Affairs, claims that "Frank" was Davis, and further claimed he was a "decisive influence" on Obama.[16] Similar claims were made about Davis in the anti-Obama book The Obama Nation.[17]

A rebuttal to The Obama Nation released by Obama's presidential campaign, titled Unfit for Publication. confirms that "Frank" was in fact Frank Marshall Davis, but disputes claims made about the nature of their relationship.[18]

Hmm, This claims now that he never admitted it openly...(no citation though) whether he did or not doesn't deny the fact he was a commie, and wrote articles for the "The daily worker"

Sometime during the period 1943-1945, Davis joined the Communist Party of the United States (CPUSA), although he never publicly admitted his party membership. Davis published pieces in CPUSA-supported publications.[citation needed]

"Hmm, This claims now that he never admitted it openly...(no citation though) whether he did or not doesn't deny the fact he was a commie, and wrote articles for the "The daily worker" "

So, I take it you agree with me that he wasn't an open member of the CPUSA, even if he was a member.

"Did you note that it isn't cited whether or not he was a member... "

Well, citation is important to verify the reliable of the source, but I think you'll agree that he never openly admit he was one, otherwise he would be crucified during the McCarthy era.

"I'll find the father figure bit... "

I don't think he said it, it is paobably just the commentary by the bloggers.
