MODERATORS COMMITMENTS:

We will never delete stuff for the hell of it.

We will ONLY delete blatant SPAM, really horrible troll threads that die instantly and have a zero "LOL" value, accidental double posts, and posts that the author requests to be deleted will be deleted.

Please label ALL off topic threads as "OT" and if you post something naughty, please give a warning so those viewing at work won't all of a sudden be collecting unemployment checks.

The Mods will be open to requests made in the Mod Thread, depending on the circumstances.

The Mod Thread will be cleaned regularly. Don't start a discussion there or you may lose it.

AP: I was thinking of consolidating them, but I don't want to lose the Toth mod thread ... and I was afraid of tucking this one into that one for fear that no one would actually see the commitments/rules.

Once we're reasonably sure that everyone understands the type of moderating they can expect here, I'm all for reposting this inside the "Mod Thread" and deleting this one.

Give it a few days, and then it will be gone. :o)

I think the mod commitments above should be post#2 in the mod thread. The Gamma/Toth post should be left as is as a memorial to UP.

Gamma was an old mod. When his post was removed after some years and exchanged for Toth, his name remained as the opener of the thread. And who knows who's got the Toth account.
