And then Conrad follows it up with the claim of budget deficits not increasing after this tax cut. This will be easy to check in the upcoming years

He was always super conservative, but the old type conservative, where you get to employ reason to back up your beliefs. I am actually fond of the guy, I thought his FDR biography was very good and back in the 1990s I thought that Jean Chrétien was really small and petty when he demanded Black give up his citizenship, in order to become British peer.
