Oops, this doesn't change the UP rankings, but I didn't put stars next to KC's underdog win:

OK. So here are the playoffs. As a die hard Eagles fan, probably the one who has stuck with one team longer than the majority of you kids have been alive. I started rooting for the Eagles when I found out one of my distant cousins played for them in the late 40's (Bucko Killroy).

Plus with the piss poor performance of the Eagles in the last 2 games of regular season.

I believe they will be the underdogs to go all the way.

I will pick them to go all the way as under dogs.

Can we really call the Eagles an underdog for the Superbowl given that they’re the best team in the NFL at the moment? (Or if that’s disputed, at the very least, the best in the NFC.) :p
The only reason they were underdogs this week was because they didn’t start Marky Mark, but he’ll be in the playoffs so... really this season is just about Marky Mark deciding if he’s an Eagles fan or a Pats fan... the damned turn-coat!! ;p

Nah, just being real here. 2 weeks running and they just don't seem to be able to score on offense. I don't know what Foles problem is but he has the same tools to work with that Wentz had. That is why they will in all likelihood be underdogs.

Okay, but the Eagles had no reason to try in the last game, and for that reason they didn’t even start their best players; they lost against the Cowboys purely because they were protecting players for the playoffs and had nothing to gain from the win.. so really you’re talking about their performance against.. who? The Raiders 2 weeks ago (where the Eagles won)? “2 weeks running” doesn’t make sense to me..

How about that?

Maybe I will get a Powerball AND a Mega Millions ticket both today.

Odds are only 88.4 Quadrillion to one that one person will win both, but what the hell. I just won one bi-fecta, why not try for both jackpots?

That is the one thing I do gamble on $12 a week on lottery tickets.

$10 for me! People cite the impossible odds, but I think the odds of my suddenly having 400 million USD without purchasing a ticket might be even lower ;)

I've been to the boats twice since I came back from Hawaii 23 years ago.

Once I lost my $20 and quit and the other time was with Fred. We had lunch and chewed the fat for almost four hours.

I miss that guy. i wish he would come back to the forum.

"I think the odds of my suddenly having 400 million USD without purchasing a ticket might be even lower"

What about the odds of you being $10/week richer if you don't buy a ticket? ;p

And what are the odds that the $10 that I keep will turn into $400 million or so overnight? :p

I was paying attention, I just didn't comment on your luck.

I really am glad you broke even and will get to plat for free this week.

I would have been much happier if you had won the Bi-fecta and had the winning numbers, all by yourself, and you would be close to $1 Trillion richer right now. Yo are a nice guy and deserve the best.

And I mean it too or I would not have posted it now because my back is killing me right now,

Eagles won the first game as underdogs. Next week I'm thinking they will still be rated as underdogs by the talking heads.

I'm sticking by the Eagles. Their O line is improving with every game and their Defense is playing damned good too.

You still a little upset that the Chiefs seemed to roll over and play dead?

I don't think the Eagles go anywhere if they face Minnesota. The queens are very good against the run, so offensively the eagles would have to be more dynamic than "run first, second, and last to protect Foles from throwing the game away." With Wentz back, I think they'd be favorites to win it all.

We'll have to wait and see. Foles is looking a little more comfortable and the O line is a lot better at L Tackle and L Guard.

The Defense is one of the best in the league over all.

I'll take the Eagles as the underdogs.

patom, I'm not much of a football fan like I used to be. Especially since my brother passed away. We used to talk a little about a game after it was over. I think I only watched one game this season.

I know they started out strong and then went downhill after that.

Jimmy G torched the Jags' secondary a few weeks ago. But Brady is no Jimmy G. Are you ready for the Bortles-Keenum Super Bowl? GET HYPE! It's happening!

I'm ready for the Super Bowl no matter what. It would still be more fun for me as my wife is a die hard Pat's fan and I'm a die hard Eagles fan.

We will just have to wait and see.

Patriots win easily again. It's basically a bunch of teams that have previously sucked spiking upwards because the NFL is socialist and rewards sucky teams with more picks and free agency pickups.

Patriots will scheme against the shitty coaches of these shitty teams and easily win another Super Bowl.

I'd love to be wrong though.

Jags have a good enough defense to stymie the pats. No idea if the jags can score points (on the pats) though.

I'm expecting a close ne vs minn Superbowl. 3-4 point spread.

Bortles is basically a roulette wheel attached to a NFL-caliber arm. He has the measurables to be a good NFL quarterback but hasn't shown any consistent decision-making.

It depends on which Bortles shows up vs the Patriots: the turnover-prone goof that almost lost his job at the beginning of the season or the laser-arm that put the nail in the Steeler's coffin last game.

It's bullshit if Minnesota gets homefield advantage at the Super Bowl, so go Eagles!

Blake Bortles
Case Keenum
Nick Foles
Tom Brady

One of these things is not like the other.

I'm definitely liking the Eagles underdog status.

Brady.
