TJ Member	Tue Mar 13 13:24:56 Neurobiology I imagine most, if not all, of you have experienced a time deception. There are a number of hypothesis' mostly related toward autism spectrum disorders. I had an experience playing table tennis years ago when I struck a ball toward my opponents face and instantly time went into slow motion. This often happens to people previous a fearful accident. Can we really contribute such situations to a rapid cognitive process or is there more involved. Cognitive glimpses of those who preferred to be alone rather than so called normal social acceptance. I find them and temporal illusions fascinating. Perception is deceiving and I think all of us can attest that as valid, of course our individual perceptions are the perfect ones. Levels of illusion normally considered delusional. Fundamental be damned. It raises questions in my mind concerning the suppression of human consciousness. Such as, are we free or are we enslaved temporarily in a human evolutionary process or is it evolution period. Can we say such individuals as listed below possess an expanded consciousness. Are they the real abnormal? Depends on perception, eh? Henry Cavendish Paul Dirac Albert Einstein Bill Gates Thomas Jefferson Alfred Kinsey Sir Isaac Newton Nikola Tesla, just to name a few of many tagged within the Spectrum. Hypothesis' be damned, eh?
Nimatzo iChihuaha	Tue Mar 13 13:32:44 If I am not mistaken, this has to do with how our brain stores information. You remember "traumatic" experiences in greater detail, giving off the perception that time slowed down. I could be wrong, but I remember this from somewhere. lol no pun intended :)

TJ Member	Tue Mar 13 13:57:17 I feel compelled to get this in the mix. There are basic rules and regulations but there are fundamental differences. They aren't equal to fundamental laws governing theories and hypothesis. When we discuss opposing views there are fundamental differences. How individuals deal with those differences determines success or failure. Fundamental is only the next step on a ladder above basic in my mind at least in this juncture of time. An extremely fundamental difference it seems and that seriously increases human complexity.
Nimatzo iChihuaha	Tue Mar 13 14:16:06 Complexity as the result of evolution? Where things can be evolutionary "true", but scientific nonsense, that kind of complexity? I am no quite sure I follow. A fundamental difference can be incredibly complex, as in the opposite of basic. Words and their meanings, sometimes that seems to be the fundamental fault line.

I'm stepping out of the box from visual processes that traumatic situations only trigger what is considered an illusion of time and other fundamental approaches. Babe Ruth is a good example of controlled time distortion. Ruth was said to have had ADHD, which within the autism spectrum. He was asked what contributed to his success of hitting the baseball his comment was that he visually slows the ball as it progresses to the plate. He also added that he was fat and didn't want to run. heheh I just enjoy questioning fundamental beliefs.

Alot of interesting super people either suffered trauma or suffered from conditions that would have traumatized others. How you deal with those situations or even, how well you are equipped to deal with those situations, that is what it comes down to. With that said for every Babe Ruth with ADHD there are thousands of ”losers” with ADHD, the roll of the dice is ruthless. Chuckle :)

Now I need to figure out why my table tennis time distortion from caused from being traumatized. :) I don't agree for a second. Too basic... Traumatized individuals creating a plethora of super success seems to be a radical and contradictory conclusion with all the failures, too me. Did medication screw their success? I'm for damn sure chuckling. I'm a mad scientist! :) You know, the method of madness mirrors. Ruthless indeed! I'm philosophizing the psychology.

I attended some gooder sckools and they were full of traumatized mentors. Yes, I admitted to being some sort of psycho doctor. Everyone knows only the psychos can read prescription requests. Too many kids are drugged forcing the idea of normal and proper behavior, ignoring the risks for convenience. That doesn't mean it is never necessary. ADHD medications were updated in 2007 to include warnings about the possibility of cardiovascular risks (sudden death in children and adolescents with structural cardiac abnormalities or other serious heart problems) and risks of adverse psychiatric symptoms (hallucinations, delusional thinking, or mania). I have been randomly brain storming and fairly certain that the individuals named previously were not drugged during their childhood. So I was attempting to connect the dots in a fun approach until it got squelched. These type kids are bored and their minds are seeking a creative outlet. The wife was ill and I was a bit bored absent her desire to speak and barrage me with enough words. When this thread went south I went out a purchased a new Harley. Boys will be boys. I'm getting a double dose today. LULZ
