I think it has more to do with knee jerk support/opposition depending on which jersey the President is wearing. And yeah, I'm sure the same could be done to some extent on the flip side.

Yes I trust the President that was the former head of the Harvard law review to handle this complicated issue and you trust the President who got seduced by a porn star and paid $150,000 in hush money.

Trump's hair is pure entertainment.

The funny thing to me is that Trump is too damn cheap to go to the Hair Club, or even spring for a decent wig. Instead he grows out the 100 strands of hair he's got left, and winds them around his big ugly head like it's a ball of yarn. :o)

It was estimated that at the time of Fred Trump's death the estate was worth 300 million at most. Inheritances aren't accessible information. The story beyond that point is all hearsay and squabbles.

The Trump organization was founded by Fred at 15 and his mother Donald's grandmother.

Did Donald get it all?
Was it split evenly between his brothers and sisters living?

Plenty of stories, but Donald is the sole billionaire in the bunch. If Donald received the vaster portion, which is possible, he transformed it into between 2.9 and 4 billion dollars by those able to do near value estimates.

Trump made his "billions" by investing in New York real estate right around the time Reagan got elected and his massive tax cuts were passed. That combined with defacto conservative control of congress mewnt unfetterred cowboy capitalism where the rich and foreigners like the Japanese bid up new york real estate to unheard levels.

This was the only gamble in Trump's life that worked out. At that point, he became too big to fail and almost every venture of his afterwards was a failure. Fortunately for him, the US tax code is basically 90% corporate welfare and he abused every rule in the book to stay afloat.

He's such a terrible developer that he couldn't make any of his New York properties other than Trump tower unto profitable ventures. Most of the land was developed from other companies and they give Trump a share of the profits.

It would not be surprising if his net worth is actually negative. He never released his tax returns. We know for certain virtually every major creditor organization in the US would not loan him money from the mid 90's onward. And it's likely he didn't pay any taxes for almost 2 decades after claiming a billion dollars in losses at this time.

How bad of a businessman do you have to be to lose billions during the boom years of the 90's?

It is likely that trump's net worth is much less than he claims it to be. He may have lost over a billion already due to the damage to his name after becoming president and his inability to stay afloat without access to Russian funds may very well be the key fact that allows Mueller to eventually cause Trump's impeachment.

Trump is just a major example of the twisted narcissism of American capitalism where people who are leeches on the economy are kept afloat by laws that mostly favor the rich. What's more twisted is the tens of millions of America s that think Trump is actually a good businessman. He's cost everyone around him billions of dollars and has raised that tab to trillions now that he's president.
