Remember when Trump campaigned about signaling or projecting our military plans and criticized Obama and generally our government.

Well Trump tweets and gives Russia a heads up about missile strikes.

Trumpicantards rejoice as they have short-term memories.

Well, it's not like it was a secret that the US will strike Syrian targets. It's been all over the news the past days.

I also think that Trump wants to be a good friend with Putin. Maybe because Putin has something on Trump, like a video tape or something. Or simply because Trump likes Putin. I don't know. In any case, Trump tells Russia to get ready:

"Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!"

...and then later Trump makes another tweet, almost like he regrets having to strike Syria. Like he wants to ensure Putin that he still is a friend of him:

"Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War. There is no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?"

"nice and new and “smart!”

Smart in the way that these missiles won't hit Russian targets?

Or smart in another way?

He wants Putin to work with us on tamping out terrorism and other goals we have in common.

There is no arms race that I am aware of.

German warship to embark with US Navy carrier strike group

by Associated Press April 11 at 4:20 AM

NORFOLK, Va. — A German warship will join a U.S. aircraft carrier strike group that’s getting underway to Europe and the Middle East.

The Virginian-Pilot reported that the USS Harry S. Truman and its support ships will leave Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia on Wednesday.

Among the strike group’s ships will be the German frigate FGS Hessen. The state-of-the-art vessel specializes in air defense.

U.S. Navy officials said the Hessen is the only type of ship in the Western world with three kinds of surface-to-air missiles. Its radar has a detection range of more than 200 nautical miles for air targets.

The U.S. military often trains and deploys with NATO allies and other partner nations.

The Hessen also will accompany the strike group for the first part of its deployment.

Tamping out terrorism is what Russia, Syria and Iran have been doing. They defeated ISIS and your al-Qaida allies.

So perhaps the US should work with Russia, Syria and Iran?
