Anyway, 80 year olds should be automatically cleared of any wrongdoing if they made it that far without getting caught.

Okay, thats a fair position. But let's be honest, we all have fond memories of him. It is somewhat sad and disappointing that he felt he had to drug women to get them to have sex with him. In a way, he is a victim himself.

also hilarious that the women are claiming that now the public is believing them... i am pretty sure when a man is accused of rape it is on him to prove it never happened, and it's been like that for decades

He was rich, handsome, and very charismatic if he wanted to sleep with lots of women there are plenty with daddy issues that would comply, but he didn't he drugged and manipulated thus should rot in prison.

Pending sentencing not appeal. Consistency of testimony by multiple accusers determined his guilt.

dude kanye is not all there right now, he had a meltdown last year too. I think it has to do with the anniversay of his mom's death? that is what triggered him last year.

but, historically, a lot of artistic and creative people tend to be bipolar and borderline crazy. that's kanye and his weird rant.

Kanye & Trump are definitely similar... (just like Cosby & Trump)

"I'm going down as a legend, whether or not you like me or not. I am the new Jim Morrison. I am the new Kurt Cobain ... The Bible had 20, 30, 40, 50 characters in it. You don't think that I would be one of the characters of today's modern Bible?"

"My greatest pain in life is that I will never be able to see myself perform live."

"I am the number one human being in music. That means any person that's living or breathing is number two. Because I'm number one now. You are in the presence of the champion. Bow in the presence of greatness."

Why is it that five of his "conquests" were allowed to testify while someone on trial for mass murder or certain other felonies is tried without his past history being held against him?

The answer to that is that you are completely retarded. Character witnesses most definitely exist in murder trials.

Aren't character witnesses there to bolster the goodness of the person trial.

To use a character witness against the accused is, in essence, using evidence of a prior crime or conviction and is not normally allowed.

past history isn't allowed if it's unrelated

i'm not sure it's clear why the judge allowed more women to speak this time than in the first trial

HR:

The Judge allowed in order to establish a pattern of taking advantage of women. It was a 14 year old assault if I'm not mistaken.

The allowance will be one of the points in Cosby's defense in appealing the verdict. He is innocent like OJ was, eh?

What are the odds that he won't spend a single day in jail?

It just sucks that he's likely going to have to spend the rest of his days dealing with this bullshit. Women are such vindictive creatures.

It was super emotionally charged. All the women had heard each others stories already through the news. Of course there was going to be a consistency to the story. I'm guessing the prosecutors asked more specific questions to try to allay those fears but I doubt you can get rid of the bias.

Not saying Cosby isn'y guilty but there really is no real (as in Forensic evidence) that proves anything.

MT,

I don't care if Kanye writes his sheet music with his own fecal matter, as long as we end up with Detroit and Compton getting on board with the MAGA train.

They just explained on TV that prosecutors fought to allow other women to testify in order to set a pattern of sexual assault by the accused.

The reason is that the word of one woman was not valid because of, he said/she said.

Because of the doping but more because of the trauma and the lack of evidence the prosecutors are now allowed to bring more women assaulted by the same person to testify against the perpetrator to set the pattern.

This is evidently something new or only practiced in a few states. It is something new to me.

Vengeance doesn't equal justice I'll agree. He shouldn't have much trouble dealing with his degenerate behavior. He's been doing it for years. It's the exposure of it that he'll have trouble dealing with in the future.

I only knew one, Uhura on Star Trek.

Wait, I watched Fat Albert on Saturday mornings so I guess I knew six or seven black people.

Oh and Sanford and Son. Wow I knew a lot of black people when I was kid.

Reading up on this case does make my blood boil. They actually got janice dickenson to take the stand as one of 5 witnesses. Really? A washed up attention-seeking whore who proudly boasts of sleeping with over 1000 men. There were so many other witnesses to chose from.

And the breaking of sealed testimony and the allowance of biased witnesses that had already heard each others stories and the fucking retarded prosecutor who goaded Cosby with a lie that he had a plane.

Fuck, I hope Trump pardons Cosby for shits and giggles. If the dems make metoo any part of their platform, I'm voting straight ticket republican.

Cosby might be going to jail a little bit but I don't think it will last. He has to go while the appeals go through and its likely given his age he serves concurrently and has a reduced sentence. Might even be house arrest given he is practically blind and infirm at this point.

The judge in question was the same as the last case and provided scant legal reason why he let 5 women act as witnesses this time when he allowed 1 before. Literally the judge was fishing for a guilty plea.

It was judicial activism based on an incredibly weak precedent that ocurred at the sstate level a few months before.

Also Constand was proven a liar when she said she didn't know the roommate that testified she made up allegations to get money.

I persobally belueved Cosby druggee women but you don't chuck due process to affirm a mob's foregone conclusion. Convictions should be baser on real evidence and not hearsay.

Cosby may be guilty but to try him after #metoo meant he would never get a fair trial given how every witness had heard each others story.

which is to say on appeal, I think there's a chance that the verduct is overturned. Don't think it's great as so much emotion surrounds the debate and democratic judges are more sensitive to popular opinion in their rulings.
