Does the Interior Ministry deal with economic affairs?

Seb,

I'll admit, this guy's taqiyyah goes far and above what we normally see from the terrorists.

To be serious though, I like how May responded to Windrush by appointing a minority to the Home Office. That's not pandering or anything.

”He's a massive fan of Ayn Rand.”

So Britain’s new interior minister is a Hot Rod?

Forwyn:

Home office is mostly about security.

Rugian:
Actually, it's more that he's one of the last people standing who could reasonably do the job. Particularly as the Tories appear to have adopted a kind of power sharing agreement more common for countries emerging from deep internicene ethnic conflicts which means Rudd needs to be replaced by a remain supporter.

Seb,

Well that's a rosy picture of your government.

Also, I thought this guy went full-on Brexiteer after the vote?

Home office is one of the big three.

So it has to be another remsin cabinet minister of some stature.

It's really got to be him, Gauke or Hunt.

Hunt is loathed by the public and resisted being reshuffled only a few months back.

"So Britain’s new interior minister is a Hot Rod?"

Given his education level, he probably even read the books unlike Hot Rod who twists it according to what Fox News tells him.

He claims to read them every year.

Rugian:

Yup, as business secretary at the time of the referendum (and then having responsibility for trade) he needed to very quickly convert to the brexit cause to be credible to remain in post. He needed to have worried as may packed him off to look after local government and housing anyway.

Rosy ain't the half of it. I find it highly amusing you guys think I *like* our government.
