This is why I just want to tear my hair out watching the Democrats flounder. They keep trying to use these dog whistle attacks, accusing him of being everything from Jack the Ripper murdering prostitutes to Hitler murdering Jews and enslaving the world. And its not working. It didn't work during the election and I am baffled why they think its going to work now. If they were attack him on actual policy, like say, his stupendous mismanagement of the executive branch, all the turn over in his own cabinet and inability to pass anything in Congress, they would actually have something of substance to say. But the Democrats are instead trapped in their own ideological echo chamber even more insane then the Republican one, where the only issues that matter is who is being oppressed today, and how Orange Hitler is a part of that problem. They are going to lose you know.

People were not in the mood for an establishment candidate especially one that had such a wide unfavorable rating in the US. Everything else about the dems is ok; its just a normal center-right political party in the Western World that doesn't know how to play dirty like the Republicans.

Hrothgar Member	Tue May 01 17:58:11 I think Trump is a huge idiot and pretty awful human overall - that being said: I will always remember with pleasure the election night watching all the news media across the USA freaking the hell out. It was at that moment I realized two things: 1- ALL US news media are in their own echo chamber. There is literally such a think as US News media culture, and all of the people working within it don't have much contact with anyone else in the nation even outside of work. 2- The talking heads of US news media are arrogant pricks that have evolved an instinctual feeling of superiority to everyone else around them. Finally, even though I don't particularly like the man and think he's implemented or tried to implement some pretty stupid things - the world is still turning very similar to how it was before him. I'll save my personal judgment of how he did as president for after he's out of office.
