Some Trump supporters thought NPR tweeted ‘propaganda.’ It was the Declaration of Independence.

Trumpicantards rejoice as they continue to dumb down America.

I, for one, am not going to pay to read your leftist BS.

In fairness, tweeting the entire declaration piece-by-piece in 113 separate tweets is also fucking retarded.

True.

On an aside Facebook labeled the Declaration of Independence as hate speech.

They later apologized.

Hot Rod and Rugian are correct, if WaPo and NPR talk about the DoI it is "leftist" and "retarded."

Breitbart or Fox News should only talk about it so it can be "rightist" and "smart" again.

lol this happened last year, but it doesn't make it any less that trump supporters are fucking imbeciles.

"On an aside Facebook labeled the Declaration of Independence as hate speech.

Yeah I know, human error, must be a travesty for a paper to post excerpts day by day like another media type to do it by tweet. I guess that is "retarded." Though along with human error, I am sure the "indian savages" remark could not in someway trigger that. Because I am sure everyone of us could pinpoint each excerpt of the Declaration of Independence and know it's from there, without us having to go look it up.

Good thing they apologized, because if not, I am sure Trumptards would call for a ban of facebook just like Walmart and their "impeach 45" tshirts. lol

Such snowflakes.

Yes, posting a text 140 characters at a time is retarded, not to mention ridiculously inefficient for both the poster and reader. Thanks for agreeing.

Rugina, its 280 characters but again your a champion of free speech right? I guess it shouldn't affect you all that much. And I am sorry that it caused this much trauma for you to have to address it.

Not taking the bait bro. This isn't a free speech issue and no one said so.

Unless you want to argue against the specific assertion that "tweeting the entire declaration piece-by-piece in 113 separate tweets is also fucking retarded," this conversation is over.

It's okay, I understand this is trying times and I hate that you have to take the time to address the matter. How dare they post the declaration of independence, how dare they.

And we're done here. You're not good at this, you know.

Oh no, wait. please don't go. Tell us more how it's retarded to post the declaration of independence on a social media maybe because it doesn't fit your narrative.

Perhaps if Trump had done something similar you would post a thread praising him.

Has nothing to do with narrative. Has more to do with getting a notice every few seconds or so about a new post.
Nothing wrong with posting the Declaration of Independence or even select parts. Very stupid though to do it scattered over 100 separate messages. That just gets annoying quick for most everybody involved.

Yeah, must be terrible for them to do it once a year on the 4th. I mean if this was every other fucking week, then you may have a point. But on one occasion once a year for a specific purpose. I am sure you will be fine, I am also sure that you don't subscribe to NPR. And I am almost certain that NPR isn't the only news agency in the country that does something similar in fashion, say the Vintage for example.

It's funny you trumptards ignore the very fact that there are some out there 1) haven't ever read the god damn thing. 2) when it is posted are so fucking stupid to interpret it as propaganda or hate speech. But let's focus on how annoying it is to post it in the first place.

My god y'all are so fucking dumb.

I don't use Twitter. Is there a way to change a setting to ignore posts from specific people/organizations without unsubscribing?

If so that would be the answer to this stupid, let's make 113 posts in a row, idea.

The article concentrates on right leaning responses but the stupid idea actually pissed off people across the political spectrum.

Might be why NPR decided not to repeat the performance this year. Instead they went back to having different people read different parts on air.

And yeah I am focusing on how annoying it would be. You get out on the fringe right or fringe left and you won't be able to swing a dead cat by its tail without hitting an idiot. That isn't a story at all.

NPR thinking this was a good idea shows they have one or two of those idiots on staff.

It's annual you moron, usually select different forums to do it. Last year it was selected on one aspect to tweet it. And the Trumptards freaked out.

No different than them doing it via radio, website, or other forums. Regardless how you think it was conveyed it should be more pressing that idiots freaked out. Seemingly some of your cohorts including yourself seem to have to defend their idiocy. Maybe it hits too close to home? Not sure...

It is an annual event on the radio. So far a one time thing on Twitter to go along with what they did on the radio. For 29 years the Declaration of Independence has been read on the "Morning Addition".

I may be a moron but turns out I know more than you. So you are...?

You are a moron, because, moron. You didn't say anything different. I pointed out that it was annual, just like you did. I pointed out they did it through various mediums, including radio. Just like you mentioned. Except for the part that you can't grasp; the technological advancements that were used, a different format; which was not explicitly exclusive to twitter as they utilized the radio, newspaper columns, and website as well.

And now here we are an OP that posted how stupid people are and in this case it appears to be some hardcore trumptards who thought it was propaganda. And then you have the "Defenders of Trump" enter the thread to ignore the very idiocy that is being exposed and the only thing they can muster is "how retarded it was to put it on twitter." But let's ignore the morons who couldn't even tell it was the Declaration of Independence and let's focus on that NPR is somehow the blame for their idiocy for posting "113 lines" because it somehow affects their way of living...

No you're a moron, and the rest of the people with a brain have perspective. Besides kargen you've been a moron for a long while so this shouldn't be any different than any other time.
