Will the jurors do the right thing or will Trump have to pardon Manafort?

The deep state is almost assuredly threatening them and their families if they don't make the "right" decision, so unlikely.

Better to be tweeted about for disagreeing with President Trump than it is to become suddenly suicidal for disagreeing with Hillary.

I'm guessing the next trial is the one that will fry his ass. The prosecutors dropped the ball on this one. They told the jury to concentrate on the documents but didn't do everything they could to make clear what documents were associated with each charge.

I predict that we'll get the outcome that you'd expect when the judge spends the entire trial kneecapping, castigating, and ridiculing the prosecution and its case.

Exactly. Of the two candidates from the last election, only one of them has a history of compromising individuals suddenly winding up dead, and it's not Trump

Trump having mob ties is just fact... possibly w/ Russian mobsters too

go Mueller!

also Trump has nothing but praise for leaders known for murdering opponents, if he gets a few more years the practice will probably be supported by 43% of Americans

"Trump having mob ties is just fact... possibly w/ Russian mobsters too"

You know, I was just about to say how at least the mobster claims would be a fresh angle after years of anti-Russian hysteria...sadly you couldn't resist yourself.

"also Trump has nothing but praise for leaders known for murdering opponents,"

He plays to strongmens' egos by delivering praise. That's just good strategy. Either way though, that's not the same thing as murdering opponents himself.

In any case, looks like we both may be wrong about who is looking to threaten the jurors:

CNN requests Manafort juror names and addresses

Jewgle,

I singled out CNN because they have a reputation for threatening to dox people in order to affect an outcome. By all means though, if you want me to go "RAWR WaPo, NYT, Buzzfeed etc," I'm willing to do so.

Interesting claims with no evidence to back up. (to affect an outcome)

Which also eludes to the fact that they are not the only media agency, either left or right that conducts such actions. 'Public Rights to Juror Information.' But you do you though in regards of targeting the big evil CNN et al because you want to emphasize your disdain towards it, because of the name CNN.

You may return to being a Trumptard shill.

No one here has ever accused CNN of being an "enemy of the state." The establishment isn't an enemy of itself.

But yes, it would be rather enjoyable to watch live footage of Jim Acosta getting waterboarded in Gitmo.

@Rugian, not a new angle, i've noted Trump's mob ties before as has Trump:

"
Trump himself acknowledged as much in a December 2015 interview with the Wall Street Journal, admitting that S&A Concrete was "supposedly associated with the mob."

"Virtually every building that was built was built with these companies," he said, adding, "These guys were excellent contractors. They were phenomenal. They could do three floors a week in concrete. Nobody else in the world could do three floors a week. I mean they were unbelievable. Trump Tower, other buildings."
"

so supposedly there was basically no way to avoid it, but note his praise... plus he has numerous links all over the place

http://www...ald-trump-has-been-linked-mob/

and people -should- be a lot more hysterical... the fools on Fox News & R congresspeople are finding reasons that its ok that Brennan lost clearance but ignoring the reason it was actually done (same exact issue as w/ Comey firing for that matter)

the dictator child says he's getting "a tremendous response" for his decision... totally the wrong message to be sending & there's reporting the WH already has drafted more clearance removals

also we could address how he knows NOTHING & learns NOTHING... he knew nothing about the iran deal that he cancelled... nothing... how is that acceptable? ... he's feeling more freedom to do whatever shit pops in his head, so just getting more and more dangerous

and he's using twitter solely to spread division w/ his lies about media & the justice dept... & sports... & motorcycles...

so many problems w/ this disaster

(& the stuff people like: tax cuts & supreme court picks have nothing to do w/ Trump)

hey look, he even has an example today, what a surprise:

"Social Media is totally discriminating against Republican/Conservative voices. Speaking loudly and clearly for the Trump Administration, we won’t let that happen. They are closing down the opinions of many people on the RIGHT, while at the same time doing nothing to others"

is that happening? 'many people'?... can you give an example beyond his buddy Alex Jones?

"No one here has ever accused CNN of being an "enemy of the state." The establishment isn't an enemy of itself. "

"enemy of the people, enemy of the state" The dog whistle the Trump and others utilize. And you've demonstrated it quite well in this thread. So no matter how you and your fellow pseudo-libertarian want to deny that. You actions on here completely speak differently.

Like I said before, you may return to your Trumptard Shill-selves.

"its ok that Brennan lost clearance but ignoring the reason it was actually done"

Yeah, it's totally okay. The executive is totally in charge of clearances and classifications, and he hasn't removed clearances of anyone still on the job. When he does, we might have an issue.

This is a guy that the media said Obama should fire, that the ACLU heavily criticized during his nom for CIA director. Now we have a 180 because "muh retaliation"
tumbleweed
the wanderer
Sat Aug 18 11:33:19
again... you have moved to Brennan... we KNOW Trump did it purely on Brennan criticism of him (+ link to Russia investigation), that is ALL that is important here... all of these Brennan issues existed since Trump took office

and there ARE people on his enemies list who still are on the job, like Ohr who he's going full bore after w/ lies (Trump took an already out-of-context message Fox News reportedly found, and then added words to make it even more bullshit)
tumbleweed
the wanderer
Sat Aug 18 12:16:08
for the record, Fox News claims Ohr wrote that Steele was "very concerned abt Comey's firing -- afraid they will be exposed"

which sure sounds sinister when reading, unless you realize they would say 'i', 'we', or 'you', not 'they' if they meant themselves or the person they are talking to... so it's totally unclear what that message means

then Trump tweet:
-----
“Fox News has learned that Bruce Ohr wrote Christopher Steele following the firing of James Comey saying that he was afraid the anti-Trump Russia probe will be exposed.” Charles Payne @FoxBusiness How much more does Mueller have to see? They have blinders on - RIGGED!
------

"anti-Trump Russia probe" mysteriously added, plus mixing up who said it... perhaps done by Fox News shill Charles Payne, but still on Trump's feed (he's the POTUS, he should be making every effort to provide correct info, instead of making NO effort & instead happy to provide incorrect info)
tumbleweed
the wanderer
Sat Aug 18 12:32:16
...and for the record's record Charles Payne replied to that Trump tweet w/ the proper quote (NO mention of probe, or other errors) so it's entirely possible & believable that Trump added the bullshit as he tends to do
Forwyn

Sat Aug 18 12:54:30
"you have moved to Brennan"

You brought him up. As he's the only person thus far in "muh clearance fiasco", he's relevant here.

"(+ link to Russia investigation)"

Brennan should have no link to Russian investigation. If CIA head was spying domestically on a a presidential candidate, he should be in prison.

But he should already be in prison for Senate spying, so no surprise there.

"like Ohr"

Who still has his clearance. So, not relevant here. Following rants suitable for a Muh Child Trump thread.
tumbleweed
the wanderer
Sat Aug 18 13:27:56
so you have no problem with an erratic corrupt incompetent president until he acts & its too late?

& he has acted on things... how about this thread topic, where Trump comes out & suggests it's all a corrupt trial while jury deliberating (& beforehand for that matter), that ok?

& the Brennan security clearance removal is relevant, specifically for why it happened, not what reasons supporters found to try to justify it

I have no problem with him revoking clearances of retired fucks who should have been fired/imprisoned long ago, no. If I spend five years calling for the death of a pedo who subsequently gets t-boned by a drunk driver, eh, fucking good. Again, we can talk if that driver hits someone else.

I also have no problem with him making retarded public comments to try to protect his in-group.

Make him a lame duck president in three months, then vote him out two years later. idgaf

Trump just keeps giving on the mob evidence front:

“this whole thing about flipping — they call it. I know all about flipping. For 30, 40 years I have been watching flippers. Everything is wonderful, and then they get 10 years in jail and the flip on whoever the next highest one is, or as high as you can go. It almost ought to be outlawed.”

“I have seen it many times, I have had many friends involved in this stuff. It’s called flipping and it almost ought to be illegal. You get ten years in jail but if you say bad things about somebody, in other words make up stories if you don’t know. They just make up lies.”
