Remember it was the deep state that was responsible for the attacks.

How about we just forget the whole thing instead?

It was conceived of by Jimmy Carter, who used democratic agents (like Hillary and Obama are now) to carry out the attack because he hates America.

Jimmy Carter seems more like a guy that would write an angry xmas letter to a country he hated rather than 9/11 it.

Did Trump Brag He Had the ‘Tallest Building in Manhattan’ After the 9/11 Attacks?

http://www...rump-bragged-tallest-building/

Donald Trump spoke of having the tallest building in downtown Manhattan after the 9/11 attacks, but whether he was "bragging" is in the eye of the beholder.

CLAIM
Donald Trump bragged that he had tallest building in downtown Manhattan after the 9/11 attacks destroyed the World Trade Center.

re: Nike ad w/ Kaepernick

Trump: "I think it’s a terrible message. I have Nike is a tenant of mine. They pay me a lot of rent. But I think it’s a terrible, horrible message that they’re sending."

I'm sure there's some other reason to mention it, but I can't imagine what it is.

Trump applied for and received $150,000 in state funds intended to help small businesses affected by the attacks, despite the fact that his business was not affected.

The fund was supposed to cover uninsured losses for small businesses, but Trump somehow received $150,000 in taxpayer money; his application cited “rent loss,” “cleanup” and “repair.” Yet none of Trump’s properties were actually damaged in the attack.

Trump later claimed it was a reimbursement for his charitable efforts. “It was probably a reimbursement for the fact that I allowed people, for many months, to stay in the building (40 Wall Street), use the building and store things in the building,” he said.

But not only does that contradict his application, but the fund was not supposed to reimburse anyone for pitching in. Which, by the way, there’s no evidence Trump actually did.

so Trumps best bullshit lie was reimbursement for charity... (that probably didn't even happen)

Did Donald Trump Take $150K from the 9/11 Small Business Fund?

http://www...trump-911-small-business-fund/

A 2006 New York Daily News article about Donald Trump's receipt of $150,000 in federal aid post-9/11 was inaccurately revisited in 2016.

CLAIM
Donald Trump improperly received $150,000 in federal aid earmarked for small businesses damaged by the 9/11 attacks, despite the fact his business was neither small nor damaged in the attacks.

RATING
MOSTLY FALSE

WHAT'S TRUE
A business owned or operated by Donald Trump was entitled to $150,000 in federal aid to businesses affected by the 9/11 attacks.

WHAT'S FALSE
The grant money wasn't specifically earmarked for small businesses, nor was it improperly accessed by Trump. Trump's businesses did not lie or mislead federal agencies to in order to qualify under the terms of the programs, which didn't require businesses to have sustained physical damage to be entitled to the funds. Trump's business also wasn't the only large firm to qualify under criteria used by the agency tasked with distributing the grant money.

so he did take the money that clearly wasn't intended for him (was to keep harmed businesses from closing or leaving)

what lol? that Snopes thing is huge, but this is the exact text of the program:

"
LMDC’s Business Recovery Grant (BRG) program provided grants to businesses (including not-for-profit organizations) with fewer than 500 employees, located in Manhattan south of 14th Street, to compensate them for economic losses resulting from the disaster. The goal of the program was to keep businesses and jobs from deserting the city and moving to other States or overseas.

The program was designed to retain and create jobs and attract and retain large and small firms and non-profit organizations.

Compensation was calculated based on days of lost gross revenue, with the maximum number of days and amounts determined by business location.
"

do you think Trump was an intended beneficiary? (even if he technically qualified)

the 'mostly false' rating seems off to me as it -does- note small businesses (by employee count)
