If they reach here we will have to take them in according to the law. Trump tells Nicaragua to stop them and bring them back home or he will cut off their foreign aid effective immediately. He later added Honduras and Costa Rica to the list. Not sure if he meant this mob or future mobs.

Instead of letting them get to the US where we have to deal with them and it would cost a lot more we would pay Mexico to detain them and/or send them back to their own countries. They would be picked up in Southern Mexico. If they wanted to enter the US legally they could go to one of the US consulates located in Southern Mexico and apply.

The whole "clear and present danger" rule has often been twisted into a Pretzel, but there is no immediate threat from Mexico that he could point too that would necessitate not spending a couple days to check with Congress first.

They were not allowed to be armed nor could they engage people crossing the border. In the end it cost over $6,000 (I think that was the cost not 100% sure) for every illegal immigrant that was apprehended during that time. President Trump should learn from that and not make the same mistake. Send a request to congress and let them kill the idea.
