Utopia Talk / Politics / Stop criticizing Trump!

Trump tells everyone to stop criticizing him, because he thinks that this will stop his supporters from sending bombs to former presidents and to other politicians.

Trump is also calling for more civility.

Meanwhile, Trump is calling women "nasty" and "horse face" and mocks people with a disability.

he deleted that after backlash, but he's still sticking with:

"On Lou Dobbs Tonight I'll take up why FBI and ATF hasn't informed the public about contents of "suspicious packages": whether hoax or bombs, they were clearly designed to influence election. Why? #Dobbs"

which obviously means he's claiming false flag by saying 'clearly designed to influence election'

Hey, possible. No police report, guy left without violence.

"if some host on CNN suggested R's hired fake protesters to make D's look bad as their initial assumption w/ no evidence, is that fine?"

If in response to multiple anchors blaming the incident on, say, Obama, for culturing an environment of hate, etc etc, yeah, no problem. Otherwise, just stay neutral and report the protest.

"is it wrong for Fox News or anyone else to suggest it is what it looked like?"

Again, they're not the first. They're just peddling an alternative guess about perp motive.

Best is not to delve into either until facts are made apparent.

"law enforcement guy who just spoke said they are not treating them as hoax devices"

not suggesting shit.

I am telling you everybody who is offering up an opinion on who might have done it is basing their opinion on nothing.

I am also telling you the CNN headline about a Trump hit list is bullshit.

The only list there is related to these bombs is the list the bomber created. Until we know who he is we have no way of knowing what motivated him to target those people.

I've heard people say it is a Bernie supporter and they use as proof James Hodgkinson.

I've heard people say it was Trump supporters and as proof they offer up it had to be Trump because in a speech somewhere he insulted them.

I've heard people say it was a Democrat supporter trying to inspire people to get out and vote and they use as proof the timing of the attack.

Even heard a couple of people claim it is an ISIS dry run planning for a real attack and as proof they use the fact that none of the bombs worked.

Heard a few more theories as well.

They all have one thing in common. None of them have any real information at all supporting them.

Again any list that exists is the list the bomber created. What motivated him can't be known nor reliably speculated until his identity is known.

You are considering a very narrow definition, apparently only lawmakers.

RDN is
a) prominent
b) a Democrat
c) recently in national news for whining at an award ceremony about Trump

In 1998, he lobbied Congress against impeaching President Bill Clinton.

While promoting the film The Good Shepherd with co-star Matt Damon on the December 8, 2006, episode of Hardball with Chris Matthews at George Mason University, De Niro was asked whom he would like to see as President of the United States. De Niro responded, "Well, I think of two people: Hillary Clinton and Obama."[67] On February 4, 2008, De Niro supported Obama at a rally at the Izod Center in New Jersey before Super Tuesday.

Brennan is
a) prominent
b) a Democrat
c) in and out of news as he whines incessantly on Twitter, CNN, and MSNBC about Trump

-Commie in college
-Served happily under Clinton
-Went private sector to intentionally avoid serving under GWB
-Happily came back for Obama
-Voiced to peers that he would enjoy continuing to serve under Hillary
-Now spends his days #resisting

do you honestly believe 'Trump foe' isn't the connection or are you just trying to be contrarian?

and you haven't proven Brennan is a Democrat... missing from your list is hm identifying as one (and finding Trump to be a completely unacceptable unfit piece of shit just means you are paying attention... and don't have the parasite)

There's certainly a difference between "well-known Trump foe" and "hurrr Trump instigated this by attacking them" (half of DC would have fake bombs headed their way if so, including Republicans). It's also not mutually exclusive with "prominent Democrats".

it still remains an almost insane notion to think someone was making a list of 'prominent Democrats' & this is who they came up with... you are merely working backwards & trying to prove the people are prominent & democrats

"so some mad bomber is out there unaware of Trump foes and decides he wants to target 10 prominent Democrats and Brennan and De Niro make the list?"

again (because you are either slow or pretending to be so) not saying the bomber is unaware of President Trump's foes. I am saying we do not and can not know at this time what motivated the bomber because we do not know who the bomber is. I am also saying this is the bombers list and not the list of anybody else. How he determined who should be on his list can't be known until we know who he is.

CNN said the targets were part of a "Trump hit list". That is irresponsible and a lie at the very best. Do you not know what a "hit list" implies?

And FOX News during the one hour I was listening mentioned several times that President Trump has cast everybody on that bombers list in a negative light.

Go back and read the thread. I did not say President Trump is not at odds or as you put it a foe of everybody that was targeted. I said this was not a "Trump hit list".

Hit list being the operative two words. The only "hit list" is the one the bomber created and we have no way of knowing why he created that list or how he decided who belonged on it.

"CNN said the targets were part of a "Trump hit list". That is irresponsible and a lie at the very best. Do you not know what a "hit list" implies?"

Do you not know or have heard his continuance attacks upon those who were targeted? The disparaging remarks of how those should be treated and if they did do something, he would defend them? Qualities of a good leader right? Puhlease.

"And FOX News during the one hour I was listening mentioned several times that President Trump has cast everybody on that bombers list in a negative light. "

Yes, Teleprompter Trump said bombers are bad. Then without, Trump says it's the targets fault for saying mean and hurtful things about him. Yes, I am sure Fox news shows those clips repeatedly as the other comments are set aside. Don't want you to have a misperception or anything.

" I said this was not a "Trump hit list". "

Though Trump has advocated and basically encourage with this rhetoric. Which may cause some to go to the extremes to carry it out as they want to be a zealot.

"Hit list being the operative two words. The only "hit list" is the one the bomber created and we have no way of knowing why he created that list or how he decided who belonged on it. "

Oh, is it the terminology that causes you to have the concern? Is it bothering you so much? How insensitive. It is speculative at best. And still unknown, as pointed out, who this person may be and it could be from either extreme. But nonetheless the push from what Trump said, the push of his defenders with the "false flag" narrative are contributing factors as to why some may think of it as a 'hit list' or how dismissive it is when it is someone else from the "other side" of politics.

And it seems with your comments you rather perpetuate that concept while at the same time appearing you are not being a contributor which you are. Your comments clearly show it.

Saw it with my own eyes. Was at my parents house and dad was watching CNN.

And yeah during the Wolf Blitzer program the words Trump hit list were used.

We now know the list was inspired by people who have been outspoken against Trump instead of people who President Trump has been bashing. Tom Steyer being targeted is what lets us know this as President Trump has been pretty much ignoring him for a year now. President Trump tweeted about him mid October in 2017.

Nope you keep mentioning FOX News like you found the holy grail.

Show me where in the past year President Trump has attacked Tom Steyer.

Soros has been in the public eye for years. He has been donating to left leaning politicians in many countries across the world. He has said he plans to spend fifteen million dollars during the 2018 election cycle to support Democrats. Conservative media types have been attacking Soros for how many years? A decade or two at least.

I agree it was a list of Trump foes but in the sense that all the people on the list were very vocal about their dislike/hate for Trump. This man targeted the people that he did because in his eyes they targeted Trump. Tom Steyer has been taking out ads calling for President Trump to be impeached and was/is traveling to what he sees as key political hot spots to rally his impeachment plans. That is why he was targeted, not because President Trump called him wacky and totally unhinged over a year ago.

People have known CNN sucks for thirty years or more but yeah the sticker was probably inspired by the rallies.

And the guy was charged with making bomb threats back in 2002. The guy is an evil nut that decided to obsess on President Trump. People made this list because they attacked President trump not because President Trump attacked them.

Where did I say it had no affect? In fact my statement about the bomber deciding to obsess on the president says quite the opposite. Seems obvious the bomber being obsessed with the president formed a list of people he (the bomber) thought was against the president. The list was made by the bomber for his own reasons. Tom Steyer is good evidence of that.

People, you among them, always want to lay blame to someone other than the perpetrator of the crime. Usually they just like you are doing tend to blame someone they are ideologically opposed to.

An aside, I was reading an ultra right conspiracy site earlier and they are convinced the bomber is a left wing activist. They have supposed background information that lists him as a former Green Party member and until the bombs were sent a member of the Democrats. They also point out that all the stickers on the van look brand new like they were just put on the van in the last few days.

I'm sticking with him simply being a nut that would have done something like this anyway and decided to fixate on President Trump for whatever reason. Much like John Hinckley Jr. and his obsession with Jody Foster.

look just at the media, there is no question the level of hate has been ramped up substantially by Trump... can anyone really deny that?

& he is only trying to make it worse by blaming the 'fake news' media for the anger out there, as if Cesar even watched any of the supposed 'fake news' media... safe to say his media was Fox New or worse

The level of hate has been ramped up by many on both sides of the political spectrum. The remarks made by President Trump are fairly mild compared to others. And I get that he is president and we should expect higher standards but to try and lay blame for this on President Trump is disingenuous.

I worked at a photography studio in Dallas for a while and the studio manager insisted on listening to Rush every day. The very first show I heard convinced me he was/is a blabbering idiot.

mild?

"Enemy of the people
Evil
Horrible
Too dangerous to govern"

Plus it's DAILY, and to people who show up to his rallies like it's a professional wrestling match

"Just watched Wacky Tom Steyer, who I have not seen in action before, be interviewed by @jaketapper. He comes off as a crazed & stumbling lunatic who should be running out of money pretty soon. As bad as their field is, if he is running for President, the Dems will eat him alive!"
~Trump

there's Trump today attacking a guy who just got sent a bomb by his cult follower (although this attack was indeed mild by Trump standards, merely a wacky crazed lunatic)

there's tw today attacking a guy who just got sent ricin by a fellow #resister (although ground castor beans is as much ricin as hollow pipe with bundles of wires is a pipe bomb)

...and they were more than wires & a pipe... also "energetic material that could be explosive" according to the FBI director

i don't know how capable of exploding but obviously more effort than just to look like a bomb

'enemy of the people' again:

"
There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly. That will do much to put out the flame...
....of Anger and Outrage and we will then be able to bring all sides together in Peace and Harmony. Fake News Must End!
"

it's a little absurd isn't it? admit it... almost any adult could handle things better... do you have any expectation this tweet is going to tamp things down, would any thinking adult?

Trump wants media to be 'on his side' he has said so... that's not their job.
