Leftists do not want to hear what these two young people have to say because they do not want to hear the truth. Do you know what the leftists want to hear? Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez the socialist that has no idea what socialism is nor how to explain it. She was being interviewed by some guy who explained to her that her health program would cost $32 TRILLION. Here reply, but that doesn't factor in all of the money that people will save on funerals. But there is the argument that a single payer system might reduce US health care costs per person to levels other comparable countries have. Or reduce costs by 40% or so.

It could be that you dont think it would work for 330 million people, but that is a different argument than saying socialized medicine is not affordable. It would be far cheaper than the current system you have. For completely understandable reasons.
Hot Rod Revved Up	Fri Nov 09 06:39:09 The reason our healthcare is basically two-fold as I see it. And I know this is a simplification. We are the innovators. We create new machines and drugs to extend our lives. And, not only individuals are prohibited from buying our drugs overseas, the government has made it illegal for Medicare to negotiate lower prices from the drug companies. (Though I believe Trump has changed that or it is on a front burner at least.) We haven't been allowed to buy our health insurance in another State either. An extensive edit of our health system would probably find that at least we are being overcharged for at least 90% of the items what we need to stay alive.
