Max Blumenthal tweets:

According to Brown University's Cost of War project, between 480,000 and 507,000 people have been killed in the United States’ post-9/11 wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Most of the dead were civilians.

The Costs of War study also found that the failed war on terror has cost the US $5.9 trillion in revenue, displaced 21 million people, and left 300,000 veterans with traumatic brain injuries. A DoD commission calls for spending 3-5% more for next 5 years.

we need another war, have you watched the news lately, its boring; nothing excites me more than people being killed for no real reason, other than news ratings.

the stuff under bush and obama might seem bad

until you consider that orange hitler separated 3000 undocumented kids from parents for a couple months.. could eventually waste a whole $200 million on caravans by sending troops to mexican border [simultaneously killing however many you might guess].. and that he makes mean tweets about other people

worst president ever

And in WWII Germany sent out 40,000 me just in submarines.

30,000 never returned.

The problem is that the wars are not deadly enough. Look at germany. Its peaceful and perfect. All because all the aams and forwyns and werewolfs were all killed off.

If you ever want to see a good anti-war movie check out, "All Quiet On The Western Front - 1930'.

It is still one of the best.

I quite enjoyed the remake with that actor from the waltons (jim-bob or whatever).

Nothing like a screaming horse to tell you war is a terrible thing.

"The problem is that the wars are not deadly enough"

Wait until we reach the point where two computers wage war.

One decides where the opposing defenses are weakest and they send a cyber-bomb against those defenses. The defending computer decides who was in the area at the time.

If you were there and your sides computer decides
that you were killed then you line up at an extermination center to be exterminated.

No blood, no damage.

Just good clean fun.

Sound familiar?

Why the extermination?

If the rules are clearly defined and followed, then people dying is silly.

Your side loses. You embrace communism. No need for anyone to die.

They were talking about too few casualties in today's wars. I was just showing the extreme of a bloodless war.
