Utopia Talk / Politics / Now Official - Hillary to be investigate

An Official Federal Court Judge has ordered a Special Prosecutor(?) to investigate Clinton to see if she had her own server in order to avoid FOIA.

(Not a prosecutor per se but someone like Mueller and I cannot think of the right word right now.)

also, i just looked into it... there's no special prosecutor... this is again 'Judicial Watch' which is just a conservative group, nothing official, battling through there FOIA lawsuit stuff, wanting every document they can possible get to clip sentence fragments out of & write anti-Hillary stories

no criminal part to this, no prosecutor

i kinda wonder if Tom Fitton is the only member of 'Judicial Watch' as he's the only name you ever hear associated with it

he's probably trying to get a job in the Trump administration

Trump has tweeted his nonsense opinions multiple times as if it's meaningful

Judicial Watch has been calling for this investigation but the way I heard it is the judge acted unilaterally. Of course, he may have gotten the idea from JW.

Evidently, only about 5,000 of the 30,000 plus emails have been recovered. The judge wants to know where the rest of them are and why.

(Is the word I'm looking for 'Counsel'? Is Mueller a Special Counsel?)

Hot Rod

It is, the judge wants a Special Counsel hor Clinton.

If he gets it, which he probably will, it will open a barrel, not a kettle, but a barrel of fish.

there's no special counsel unless you have a source for this info that isn't some nonsense site like Judicial Watch

the story seems to be:

Judicial Watch(Tom Fitton) filed FOIA requests for emails just like he has w/ everything Hillary

State & Justice Dept: 'we gave the shitbag enough'
Shitbag: 'oh, no you di-int'
Judge: 'i agree as i hate Hillary too, give the shitbag more'
Hot Rod

The judicial watch was being interviewed on a FOX when the breaking news was announced. He did not seem to be aware of it.

I believe the judge's name was Latimer or Lardner or something like that.

Seems like this came up recently where the judge wanted to see the emails by a certain time.

If he did not get them The Special Counsel would have been the next step.

Judicial Watch went to Federal Court to get an FOIA on Hillary's emails. IIRC the judge told Clinton to come up with the 30,000 plus emails.

The judge got only 5,000 so the Federal Judge is requesting a Special Counsel.

Heck man, there is all kinds of news breaking on FOX, turn it on and listen for a while.

When have they stopped investigating?

There would be something to report if one of the revolving door panels, investigators, inquisitors, etc etc etc. ever came up with something that would stand up in a court of law.

25 years and counting with zilch to show for it.
Maybe the Republicans should have hired Mueller.

Juan Williams is the liberal now. Other regulars are two conservatives and one mostly libertarian with conservative leanings. They haven't decided on a 5th regular yet but the guest is almost always conservative. When Juan is out they like to replace him With Geraldo Riviera.

I wouldn't depend on the show for anything other than background noise and some entertainment but today they were kinda preempted with actual news.

The real story will begin when a Special Counsel is assigned and his team starts digging. That investigation will probably take longer than Mueller's because there is a lot of real mud there to be excavated.

Tumbleweed is probably right on this one. The opportunity for prosecution if anything illegal happened is long gone unless someone on the inside has something we don't know about.

If she tries to run for president again I'm sure plenty of Democrats also running will be appalled by the private server but beyond that I think the story has kinda run its course.

Personally I think she used a private server to hide all kinds of shady shit illegal or otherwise but thinking it doesn't make it true.

What makes me think they can do nothing is all of the bad actors lined up with Clinton have been given exemption so I'm not sure that anything can be done to them for leverage.

"I think she used a private server to hide all kinds of shady shit"

why? she could've used the official gov't email for work & still set up a private account for all the shady shit (& that would've been safer as not exposing its existence to everyone)

clearly was not her motive

i know of no evidence suggesting she was up to shady shit, especially relative to anyone else in Washington

the Uranium One thing is a joke

at best, you might get an investigation of the Clinton Foundation & pay for play in general, but if that happens we better get a much bigger one on all the foreigners paying Trump properties (and they are not remotely charities like the Clinton Fdn)

Everything on the official server is backed up and archived and that would include any of her personal stuff. She would know that and used the personal server to try and circumvent that. It only dawned on her to get rid of E-mails after she was told she must submit them so that tells me shady shit was happening. What it was related to is anyone's guess.

And the courts already decided that the Trump properties are not the same as the person Trump. His name is also a brand name and the court decided it was unrealistic to require the brand to end business while the person is in office.

"It only dawned on her to get rid of E-mails after she was told she must submit them so that tells me shady shit was ."

???? She handed over work related emails and deleted personal ones. Government employees aren't going to get a secondary, personal email on the government server any more than pick-a-business would hand out personal emails to its employees.

The issue has never been "OH MY GOD A GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE HAS A PERSONAL EMAIL!" It's been "government employee using personal email for work related communication." Not providing personal email is about as fucking standard as it could get.

Retarded beyond belief.

it was her lawyers who separated personal & work emails, so they are risking their livelihoods if covering for her

it's not hard to believe there were in fact tons of purely personal emails, why wouldn't there be

would anyone want to hand over all their personal emails to their enemies?

”Hillary to be investigate”

”Not a prosecutor per se but someone like Mueller”

I doubt it. I think they will investigate Trump’s Child Sex Ring first, and Trump’s connection to Saudi Barbaria, as soon as Mueller is finished with investigating Trump’s connection to Russia.

a glorified Alex Jones has been granted permission to keep harassing people for info that will lead nowhere

see 'Judicial Watch' wikipedia page, and search for the word 'false'... shows up a lot (as in 'Judicial Watch falsely claimed'

they file FOIA requests & hope to strike gold, & they spread false rumors... all so Tom Fitton can get on Fox News probably

Sit down get yourself a cuppa and I will try to explain it to you.

As I remember this Judicial Watch requested that the 30,000 plus emails be made public.

The judge they applied to, or however that part works, ordered Clinton to bring him the emails.

The judge is a Federal Court Judge.

He was supplied just 5,000 Clinton emails.

This was not good enough.

He has asked for a Special Counsel to track down the other 25,000 plus emails.

Now that is what happened as I understand it.

If you have a better explanation of what I posted then please supply a link.

Do not send me to a site that has nothing to do with the judge requesting a Special Counsel.

Thank you.

"Do not send me to a site that has nothing to do with the judge requesting a Special Counsel. "

You are mistaken. There was no "special counsel" requested by the judge. What the judge did was give an opinion and this ordered that both sides cooperate and present a discovery method for the emails based upon the FOIA requests. In other words, it is fodder for JW so they can continue stories that has no criminal element to it whatsoever.

You being hung up on this matter displays, along with others, of how completely out-of-touch you are that has no bearing to the country itself. Especially since she is not running for any public office.
