It was the 80's and all homosexuality was taboo anyways. It's kind of ridiculous to apply retroactive standards of morality too. It's the dumbest thing about the #metoo movement. It undermines its own power by basically saying that some arbritary social-media determined moral standard in the future defines who you are as a person today. And the only charges Spacey is facing right now is from an 18-year old (at the time) anyways.

An allegation of a sexual advance from thirty years ago is really nothing to go on, and evolving standards of morality really do require a degree of relativism when looking back at events and statements made in the past. In previous incidents, there was a full investigation done by the FBI beforehand to assess if allegations are credible. Then the accuser is allowed to testify. They skipped the investigation and also ignored Ramirez’s equally legitimate allegation too. Because they knew he was a fucking drunk and it would come out. Then they had some shitty sham investigation run by fucking trump himself that literally didn’t investigate anything. It was pure bullshit which was why Republicans lost educated voters in droves during the election and lost the house. anyone with a brain could see they bullshitted Kavanaugh onto the court. What’s so funny is cuckservatives are so gleeful another rich frat boy is on the court. You are fools for thinking he will help you in my way, shape, or form.
