Would bring in black voters in Milwaukee, Detroit and Philly that didn't want to come out for candidate super predator. Booker is Obamaish enough to not scare off white voters. Sanders as number 2 would help unify the party for the midterm to lock those voters to turnout unlike Kaine who brought in nobody.

I like Booker, but he is a coastal elite. Bernie is also way too old.

The best ticket is clearly Beto-Klobuchar. Maybe Biden-Beto if Biden can somehow get around being slightly older than Trump.

Hold the mid-west. Attack the suburbs in the south.

The democratic party shouldn't rely too much on the retards that threw their vote away on Jill Stein in 2016 because they were upset about how Bernie Sanders was treated. The path to a permanent majority lies in regaining the white working class (primarily women and the secular members) and stealing away a permanent advantage with college-educated whites in Suburbia.

Beto lost to beautiful/lyin ted. That takes him out IMO, right now he is just an el paso congressman.

It's not just the handful of idiots that voted for stein it is the larger chunk of voters who didn't bother to turn out. Dems need to be about something, Sanders gives ppl a reason to vote.

Klobuchar is strong though, I agree, probably one of the most underrated candidates.

"Hold the mid-west"

Booker could put up Obama numbers in Milwaukee, Detroit and Philly. Despite the post election Hillbilly Eligy propaganda that drop off was a big part of why HRC lost.

"Beto lost to beautiful/lyin ted."

Stupid argument. You have to look at value-over-replacement or did you pretend about doing stats for a living.

Texas races are usually decided by more than 10%. Ted won by 16% in 2012. Trump won by 9% in 2016. Beto kept it within 2.5%.

He's a good candidate. Dems just need to run a straight, white guy so they can take away the white victimhood bullshit from the Republicans.

And then being another white male, Beto can also beat the shit out of Trump in the debates and actually give Trump a dose of his own medicine. Any minority or female candidate will have to meet a double standard and be nice and let Trump shout over them.

Also, only a white guy (maybe Klobuchar) will help Dems run up the score in redder states. Kamala Harris or Booker ain't helping you win close Senate seats in Iowa and North Carolina.

Sounds good but Dems are too stupid. They will nominate Pocahantas and be embarrassed again by the idiot manchild.

Booker is pretty much a moderate.

Outside of his municipal career, what evidence do you have to support that claim?

You dont even need a sane moderate to beat trump. A sort of sane not complete leftist probably works. Spartacus/Stalin fails on both accounts as does anything including warren.

Beto might work? A texas dem has to be at least a little moderate right?

If Dems ran Bullock, they'd probably win most of the electoral college but might actually lose the house. Gun Safety is a big reason why suburbs and the house flipped in 2014.

Dems havn't nominated a decent moderate since maybe Truman so the chances of them doing so this year is slim to none. We are stuck with Trump.
