Haha. It's a smart ad campaign. Just like what Nike did. Retarded Trump supporters aren't big into self-grooming anyways.

And every day, more of your sad group of retards die.

Real men aren't afraid to stand up for their beliefs or go against the crowd anyways unlike triggered cuckservatives like Rugian.

Bic?

Isn’t that what women use to shave their armpits?

Bic is made in France also. lol

But of course, a real man wouldn’t have a problem using Bic.

Anyhoo, you can always get Rockwell if you want to boycot Gillette. http://getrockwell.com/

"Haha. It's a smart ad campaign."

First off, this is not a campaign, this is a youtube commercial, do not expect Gillette to role out a series of ads based around this concept. That is the difference between an ad and a campaign.

Secondly, it is not smart. Not in how it is written which showcases several unrealistic premises to hammer home the SJW theme, because apparently they need to pretend like there are still sitcoms around involving men who shout "I am the Dad!" and it isn't used as a punchline. Like... seriously... when has that existed? Archie Bunker from the 80s?

It is also not smart because the metoo movement has become a punchline at this point. Because it lost all credibility by propping up the same absurd narratives that this ad is built around. We are meant to believe that grown men, prior to 2018, would let their boys fight with each other because "boys will be boys" mentality? Like. Seriously?

Because the ship has sailed we need only look at how poorly the ad is doing reception wise on the one platform they tested it out on. It is being ridiculed and because the targeted demographic (metoo fags) are pretty much over the metoo stuff the only people who care enough about the ad are the ones who feel insulted at the very premise of the ad.

That men need to be told they are bad, should feel bad, have always been bad and that we need to surrender our balls.

bit of a ramble when all i wanted to do was mock cuckhat for attempting to use a term he clearly doesn't understand but... fuck it, this ad is quite insulting.

I am sorry Hood, I tend to get annoyed when I am lectured about why being a man is a bad thing and am given evidence of absurd straw man arguments for the reasoning behind it.

But hey, if you like being rolled over for political reasons, enjoy growing into a cuck who is too afraid to state their opinion lest someone REEEEE at them about mansplaining.

Yes, women do tend to let their emotions get the best of them.

"But hey, if you like being rolled over for political reasons"

One must know when to pick battles. Gillette's ad is hardly the battle to fight.

Definitely some straw man situations in that ad.. maybe they're afraid that social media lynch mobs will look at their old commercials and over-judge the past like how James Gunn's old tweets were dug up... but more importantly..
"it's only by challenging ourselves to do more
that we can get closer to our best"
..does this mean that Gillette will make even closer shaves and maybe even compete with Spishak's 20-blade razor?

Is it important that real men remove as much as facial (and other) hair as possible? Its right up there with the symbolic castration (here god, please take a piece of my child's dick) masulinity movement propagated primarily in North America.

I would not worry over much about losing balls. You cannot lose what is already gone.

I stopped shaving in june last year, preparing for my jihad. Jergul is on to something, shaving your facial hair was never manly. It makes you look like a small child or worse a woman. Gillette was never the best a man could get, it was the best a woman could get to try and reduce your manhood. I suggest a counter campaing in the vein of burning bras. Let it grow!

Do not under any circumstance own or use a trimming device of any kind. That kind of preening is unbecoming.

Back. Whalemeat for a nice sweetandsour fusion dish does not carve itself. Its a bit finicky. Sea mammals contain a lot of blood and a whale is not easiy to hang from the haunches to bleed dry. Blood removal is key to avoid a livery flavour (true story dat).

You just now noticed that? Ana being in this was half of what made it so funny. A company devoted to selling shaving products to men seriously thought that it could find brand synergy with TYT. Serious lol moment there.

Also enjoyed the scene of the black dude stopping the white guy from harassing that girl on the street. And by "harassing," I of course mean "talking to her." Maybe speaking to a woman should require a consent contract as well.

Would it surprise anyone here to le pen run that this is the director's website?

I Googled the ad to see how many media outlets would be talking about the "alt-right" backlash against the ad. You know, all that shit. GQ magazine offered this little gem: "The commercial sparked a wave of anger among conservatives and men’s rights activists."

I recognize an ad as being a shameless and disingenuous piggybacking on a serious social movement. So they can sell their shitty product.
That makes me a men's right's activist. Okay.

A financial analyst said we can expect more of these types of ads because of the success of the Nike ad. he also said that success might not translate well to other products. Nike offers a product with a logo that is prominently displayed when you use their product. People who support the cause would/could offset any backlash because they show support wearing the product. With things like razors though not as much incentive to buy the product in support.

Whether it works or not we will be seeing a lot of these types of ads. Advertising agencies have been getting lazy and lost most their creativity. One big ad campaign creates multiple spin-offs whether it is successful or not.

Eight months from now they will move on to some new rehashed idea.

1) I don't think this is a good advertisement at all; I just find it hilarious that so many conservative men are triggered by it. I turned it off after a few seconds because I don't like political stuff. Never even seen the Kaepernick ads either. Who cares.

2) P&G donates most of its political money to republicans. This is virtue-signalling on their part. They didn't even buy ad-time for this commercial. They just posted it and now it's blown up.

3) ... ROFLMAO at triggered cuckservatives again.

I don’t shave. My wife bought me a brush and scissor set and cuts it for me every now and then. I never liked the whole shaving thing so it would grow for a week then shave it and so on. I also find enjoyment in the fact that some people look at me and find that I nominally look like a terrorist and give me wierd looks or just look away. So, it is also a rebellion against racist norms and now (apparently) also against vacuous ”woke” corporate shills. My moral superiority is over 9000.

Sure it has blown up but there is zero emphasis on the product other than some saying they will quit using the product. The larger media have already moved on. Bloggers are still giving the story/ad some life. They will move on by the weekend. If Gillette wants this ad to have any legs at all they are going to have to cut it down and air it. Otherwise it is just a short little video that blipped on our radar for a few hours.

As long as anyone doesn’t think it would be an issue to exchange men for women, jews or black people and advertise a bunch of stereotypically bad behavior associated with those groups they can argue this is ok consistently. That isn’t the cae for people who like this ad.

Some people think it is stupid and counter productive to bash large groups of people with the bad behavior of a very small percentage. Holding groups responsible for the acts of individuals, has historically not led to good things.

So cuckhat claimed the gilette ad was good, because he is ignorant about the advertisement industry and doesn't really know... anything.

this, in contrast, is a good ad. It is not lecturing the consumer. It is encouraging the consumer. It is reenforcing the consumer's self worth. that is what good ad's do.

that is why the gilette ad blew up in their face. they are a fucking company people pay for a service. they have no business telling people how to live their lives, even worse, they have no business talking down to people.
