He's putting in all the work to make Trump's trade war pay off, and Trump comes along and asserts that everything that has so far been settled isn't settled at all. The better question is why the fuck Trump's people keep putting him out there to do these things publicly. He routinely makes an ass of himself, so I have to assume that someone is doing it on purpose.
