BREAKING: Summary of Mueller report to be submitted < 45 minutes

AG Barr's summary of Mueller report has been sent to Congress

The conclusions of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on President Donald Trump has been sent to Congress at approximately 3:45 p.m. ET, a Department of Justice official says.

Attorney General William Barr transmitted his summary findings to lawmakers and they are expected to be made public a short time after.

no determination of collusion, Mueller didn't lay out an opinion on obstruction... supposedly just laid out the information... the AG has decided not enough for obstruction

so a 'win' for Trump

his fans & propaganda channel will ignore that he called it a hoax... it was not... & that he tried to smear all involved... & that there was detailed info on what Russia did which was important (except to Trump)

& i'm sure we'll hear how all the other investigations need shut down as if he didn't commit this crime he can't possibly have committed any other

"No collusion!"

Everyone expecting Mueller to determine otherwise or indict the President or anyone in his family are going to have a very bad day.

”no determination of collusion”

They are obviously afraid there will be a CIVIL WAR if they come to the conclusion that there was a collusion, so they are covering it up and burying the truth.

I think they would get farther and find collusion if they investigated Trump and his administration’s connection to Israel.

hopefully we will see the obstruction info... obviously substantial as Mueller unwilling to clear Trump (& AG is working on a 'beyond reasonable doubt' standard plus he was anti the idea from the start & why he was hired)

i said from the start i didn't think Trump colluded personally as he would provide nothing of value... he doesn't know what voter rolls are, he wouldn't know how to send or receive electronic info, he thought he'd win New York... he's an idiot :p

but a shame none other nailed though... they were clearly -willing- to collude given the 'the Russian gov't wants to help you win' -> 'I love it' email exchange (+ meeting the top people as first step)

Since there was no provable collusion, there could be no obstruction?

Is that not the AG main argument for dropping obstruction charges?

Practically though...two years left.

you don't need an underlying crime for obstruction

they cited it as evidence of no corrupt intent if there was no underlying crime... but he -did- have corrupt intent, he lives in a constant state of corrupt intent... plus he wouldn't know if there were crimes by others (& he would happily try to cover up crimes by his people)

also, there WERE underlying crimes... he interfered in Flynn & Cohen & Manafort... all convicted criminals

The question I have is, has Mueller stated any conclusions or opinions on what has been found from the investigation or is he just going to walk away.
I can't recall him ever making any press conferences or public statements during his whole investigation.

No that was/is something and the ones found guilty should face the consequences. They were unrelated to the collusion investigation and that is why Mueller passed them off to others.

Literally the only good thing to come out of Barr's letter to Congress and summary of the Mueller report is watching all of Louise Mensch's followers try to rationalize how she could have been so wrong, and still be right.

Among her greatest hits was that "according to her sources" Steve Bannon could potentially face the death penalty.

Just a bit outside!

Trump is claiming many evil people caused this, that many lied to congress (that we know who, so he doesn't need to say) and also claiming treasonous

So a bunch of suspicious behavior, contacts and lies by the Trump campaign leading to an investigation was completely evil and corrupt

He also claimed few could've handled it as well as he did...

A great day for America...

Makes more sense than your reality where Mueller spent two years playing pinochle with big foot instead of conducting the investigation.

I told you more than six months ago when the report finally came out you would be disappointed.

I was wrong. You are not disappointed you are delusional.

The evidence was looked at and a conclusion has been reached. No collusion. Sometimes the evidence isn't want you think it is or want it to be.

The investigation wasn't a hoax. Some of the "evidence" might have been.

Especially when Dore made fun of Maté for having a heart for Maddow's behind-the-scenes idealistic journalists.

I'm sorry, are you asserting that Don Jr didn't set up a meeting in Trump Tower with a Russian national for the express purpose of gathering dirt on Hillary?

Because I'm pretty sure that there are emails that prove otherwise.

It'd be far more accurate to say that Mueller chose to overlook certain evidence.

Mueller was never going to indict Trump or anyone in his family for fear of setting off a constitutional crisis and destabilizing the country.

this is Sarah Sanders comment (& the what they are pushing to claim anyone involved in starting it was evil/traitor/criminal):

"The Special Counsel did not find any collusion and did not find any obstruction. "

the Special Counsel is Mueller

all we have so far from Mueller on collusion is:
“[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

^which is good for Trump... however, that "[T]" means there was something before it... such as 'Although numerous people suspiciously interacted w/ Russians,'... who knows what it is.

Regardless it is NOT saying they found ZERO indication of collusion as team Trump pushing. In footnote, it says for conspiracy they needed proof of a tacit or express agreement between Russia & the campaign to interfere. A pretty high bar.

In any case, the point is it's not 'no evidence' of collusion... which is their basis to claim that all Dems lied & the investigation should never have happened, yadda yadda... it absolutely should have.

And the much bigger lie is Mueller "did not find any obstruction" said by garbage pile Sanders (& the talking point of the whole Trump/Fox operation)

Mueller on obstruction:
“while this report does not conclude the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”

and the report laid out incidents & discussion on them which we haven't seen

that makes it CLEAR he found obstruction, and it was so close to chargeable he didn't want to decide on his own (which is a bit odd)... or maybe he would charge but not noting it as the Prez can't be indicted... or as he knew Barr already didn't agree, as Barr wrote there's no obstruction before he was hired & almost certainly the reason he was hired as the investigation is the entire role of the AG in Trump's mind

in any case, clearly SOMETHING there... team Trump are liars, even w/ a generally good report
(obviously they are totally ignoring the half of report saying Russia interfered as Trump hates acknowledging it for whatever mentally unfit or puppet reasons)

those are the facts

(& at kargen, if you don't think it was an illegal hoax, you should have a problem w/ the president repeatedly saying it... words actually matter... i assure you his zealot hordes are believing & repeating his nonsense)
