They glued themselves to a train to protest the climate crisis. Airplanes are a bigger threat to the climate than trains are. Trains are climate friendly in comparison.

Why didn’t they glue themselves to an airplane instead? Airplanes are the real climate villain.

Protesters climb train to 'disrupt' public transport

One man is arrested on suspicion of obstructing a railway, as the London mayor says he is "extremely concerned" about more action.

A man and woman, both dressed in black, were pictured on top of a DLR carriage holding a banner that read: "Climate emergency."

They were later removed from the carriage after apparently gluing themselves to the roof, along with another man who glued his hand to the train window.

British Transport Police (BTP) said specialist units trained in protest removal were scrambled to the scene and one man has been arrested on suspicion of obstructing the railway.

"Targeting public transport in this way would only damage the cause of all of us who want to tackle climate change, as well as risking Londoners' safety and I'd implore anyone considering doing so to think again."

It actually does make sense.

Sabotaging small efforts at climate remediation to indicate their inadequacy is relevant.

I am pretty close to not sorting our household refuse due to a planned mining development (why should I sort my garbage if companies can fill fjords with toxic mining debris?)

Now look what they made me do :-).
