The people who directly spied on the Trump administration should definitely be questioned and imprisoned. From there indictments should be coming down for swamp creatures like Comey and Rosenstein. The Beltway establishment is going to have a complete meltdown over this, and it's going to be glorious.

no one will be imprisoned for 'spying' on Trump's campaign as none of it was improper & certainly not illegal

Spied? What do you mean, spied? They simple conducted electronic surveillance - Comey, Brennan, Pelosi, tw, etc

let's note the lying garbage-pile dictator is once again being hypocritical and engaging in the exact behavior he's complaining about by declaring all this illegal behavior 'by the other side'... except no actual evidence of course, as he's lying garbage

kinda like that Fox News video where Trump does all of their Obama complaints 100x worse, yet now they are silent

That's what a special investigation is for! I expect we'll have evidence or lack thereof about two years from now. In the meantime, talking heads can whine about c̶o̶l̶l̶u̶s̶i̶o̶n̶ improper spying

Trump supposedly said ”I’m fucked” when he got to know that he was going to be investigated for collusion, and he then tried to obstruct justice. And now Trump has had his goonies to classify parts of the Mueller report, so Trump and his people are obviously trying to cover shit up. The stuff in the report that is classified/censored is the parts that ”I’m fucked” is about.

You should be happy Trump was finally wrong about something. :)

all of Volume 2 is about obstruction, w/ about 150 pages detailing specifics... so sadly, Barr is clearly a Fox News watcher or totally in Trump's camp as there's no way Mueller was leaving all that for Barr to decide, he's in no better position than Mueller

and 'corrupt intent' is pretty clear to me in Trump worrying about what would be uncovered (plus not knowing what would be illegal or who might have done something... AND knowing he lied constantly & could be exposed)

Paramount,

Typical of you to fall for fake news. His "I'm fucked" comment was in regards to the fact that special counsels tend to overshadow a president:

"'Everyone tells me if you get one of these independent counsels, it ruins your presidency. It takes years and years and I won't be able to do anything. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me,' Trump said, according to the report."

Nice of the enemies of the people at CNN to use that sensationalist headline though.

Pretty telling how fake news is covering this release too...like it somehow "vindicates" their two-year long obsession with peddling a story that's now been debunked. Nope, they're all still worthless garbage

what stories have been shown to be false by this report?

(not counting the small number that were already corrected at the time)

That Trump colluded with Russia to steal an election?

Obsessing over that story like it was ever going to be proven credible is going to go down in history as one of the biggest hatchet jobs of all time.

Republicans have to decide if Trump's behavior is what they want as the new acceptable standard (though not really as nearly everyone in politics is a total hypocrite)

"new acceptable standard"

Opposition research conducted by foreigners was accepted as the norm before Trump <3

If only Schiff had shared all the evidence he has on President Trump with Mueller. Schiff's testimony could have been just what was needed to put President Trump in jail!

searching the report, 'Steele' & 'dossier' don't even appear until Vol 2 (obstruction efforts)

Schiff said there was evidence of collusion
there was evidence of collusion
end of story

@tw:

You misunderstand. Whether or not the dossier is important is irrelevant; it merely establishes the standard that working with foreigners on opposition research as a legal norm.

because if there is no beyond-reasonable-doubt proof of conspiracy then there must be zero evidence of anything, right? no space in between those things...

at least that's the line pushed by team idiot/liar/criminal, i'm sure he's happy people are buying it

Just guessing, but I probably wouldn't rely on secondhand info from a foreigner transmitting Kremlin mutterings

Schiff did fine explaining on his own:

“My colleagues might think it’s OK that the Russians offered dirt on the Democratic candidate for president as part of what’s described as the Russian government’s effort to help the Trump campaign,” he said. “My colleagues might think it’s OK that when that was offered to the son of the president, who had a pivotal role in the campaign, that the son did not call the FBI, he did not adamantly refuse that foreign help — no, instead that son said he would ‘love’ the help with the Russians. You might think it was ok that he took that meeting. You might think it’s ok that Paul Manafort, the campaign chair, someone with great experience running campaigns, also took that meeting. You might think it’s ok that the president’s son-in-law also took that meeting. You might think it’s ok that they concealed it from the public. You might think it’s ok that their only disappointment after that meeting was that the dirt they received on Hillary Clinton wasn’t better. You might think it’s OK. I don’t.

You might think it’s OK that the president’s son-in-law sought to establish a secret back channel of communication with Russians through a Russian diplomatic facility,” he added. “I don’t think that’s OK. You might think it’s OK that an associate of the president made direct contact with the GRU through Guccifer 2.0 and WikiLeaks. You might think it’s OK that a senior campaign official was instructed to reach that associate and find out what that hostile intelligence agency had to say, in terms of dirt on his opponent. You might think it’s OK that the national security adviser-designate secretly conferred with a Russian ambassador about undermining U.S. sanctions, and you might think it’s OK he lied about it to the FBI. You might say that’s all OK, that that’s just what you need to do to win. But I don’t think it’s OK. I think it’s immoral, I think it’s unethical, I think it’s unpatriotic and, yes, I think it’s corrupt, and evidence of collusion.”

Nah that doesn't explain his claims.

He claimed he had proof of collusion and threatened to release it.

All that shit is stuff everybody knew more than a year ago and those of us not suffering delusion also know what became if it and why it is insignificant.

Greg Gutfeld had a perfect analogy to describe you Schiff and others. You watch the movie Die Hard and don't like the ending so you watch it again thinking this time Hans will live and McClane will be charged with terrorism. It ends the same way so you watch it again thinking it can't possibly end that way again.

provide his exact claim, i've heard him say 'evidence of collusion' and there was

presumably Greg is one of the corrupt horde on Fox News who thinks this report shows nothing bad about Trump & his team of liars

"What the Mueller report disturbingly shows, with crystal clarity, is that today there is a cancer in the presidency: President Donald J. Trump. Congress now bears the solemn constitutional duty to excise that cancer without delay."
~George Conway

"It's the lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. The lies. If you're not troubled by all his lies, then I feel sorry for you."
~Joe Walsh

none of them Trump fans, but all conservatives... and i'm sure you can find plenty more w/ similar views who haven't sold their souls

this is not 'the left' making up criticism

yet i'm sure Greg & the other garbage on Fox News have no criticisms whatsoever of the constant stream of lies & corrupt behavior
