Basically he was the world's shittiest businessman

http://www...=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage

As a result, 1990 and 1991 represented the worst years of the period reviewed by The Times, with combined losses of $517.6 million. And over the next three years, as Mr. Trump turned over properties to his lenders to stave off bankruptcy, his core businesses lost an additional $286.9 million.

The 10-year total: $1.17 billion in losses.

As losses from his core enterprises mounted, Mr. Trump took on a new public role, trading on his business-titan brand to present himself as a corporate raider. He would acquire shares in a company with borrowed money, suggest publicly that he was contemplating buying enough to become a majority owner, then quietly sell on the resulting rise in the stock price.

...

In all, from 1986 through 1989, Mr. Trump declared $67.3 million in gains from stocks and other assets bought and sold within one year.

One number from Mr. Trump’s tax returns is particularly striking — and particularly hard to explain: the $52.9 million in interest income he reported in 1989.
...
Hard data on most of Mr. Trump’s business life is hard to come by, but public findings from New Jersey casino regulators show no evidence that he owned anything capable of generating close to $52.9 million annually in interest income.
"

his interest income:

1986 - $460,566
1987 - $5.5 million
1988 - $11.8 million
1989 - $52.9 million
1990 - $18.7 million
1992 - $3.6 million

i wonder what criminal shit that was...

some news i missed was Trump's sister 'retired' as a judge after she was being investigated for tax fraud stemming from that last NY Times investigation of how the Trumps absorbed Fred Trump's wealth w/ tax fraud to avoid taxes

Gee, I cant imagine why Trump is so reluctant to release his returns, given the leftist media's coverage of this.

By the way, leaking a private tax return is a felony. Someone's going to jail over this (hopefully starting with the NYT "reporters" involved).

"it's not illegal & it's not tax returns"

Wrong.

"26 U.S. Code § 7213. Unauthorized disclosure of information

(a) Returns and return information
(1) Federal employees and other persons

It shall be unlawful for any officer or employee of the United States or any person described in section 6103(n) (or an officer or employee of any such person), or any former officer or employee, willfully to disclose to any person, except as authorized in this title, any return or return information (as defined in section 6103(b)). Any violation of this paragraph shall be a felony punishable upon conviction by a fine in any amount not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment of not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution, and if such offense is committed by any officer or employee of the United States, he shall, in addition to any other punishment, be dismissed from office or discharged from employment upon conviction for such offense.

and

(3) Other persons

It shall be unlawful for any person to whom any return or return information (as defined in section 6103(b)) is disclosed in a manner unauthorized by this title thereafter willfully to print or publish in any manner not provided by law any such return or return information. Any violation of this paragraph shall be a felony punishable by a fine in any amount not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment of not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution."

a1) doesn't seem to apply if it wasn't an employee

a3) doesn't seem to apply if the person who gave it to the NYT legally had it

but feel free to investigate, we all know how much team Trump hated spreading illegally stolen info from wikileaks

fact remains, the President has been proven a conman & fraud... shown over & over & over & over in every aspect of his life

"a1) doesn't seem to apply if it wasn't an employee"

If it wasn't, then the firm responsible for this just destroyed their business reputation forever.

"a3) doesn't seem to apply if the person who gave it to the NYT legally had it"

What? The NYT clearly has liability under that statute.

"fact remains, the President has been proven a conman & fraud..."

He has not. The only thing that has been proven is that TDS-infected retards have literally no ethical or moral boundaries when it comes to trying to destroy this president.

his charity was a fraud, his university was a fraud, he was a tax fraud with getting his fathers money and probably his whole life, he lies to investors as standard practice, he cheats contractors as standard practice, he faked interest in businesses to get others to buy stock then sold his
(and I'm sure I've missed some of his demonstrated fraud)

yes, he's been proven a fraud and conman over and over and over... and a liar in general basically every time he speaks

no, Rugian posted law & claimed it applies... it's hardly clear

and Fox News is using same argument
http://www...legal-right-to-confidentiality

they state :

"Federal law – 26 U.S.C. §7213(a)(1) – makes it a felony for any federal employee to disclose tax returns or “return information.” Infractions are punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine as high as $250,000 under the Alternative Fines Act (18 U.S.C. §3571)."

and

"If the newspaper obtained this information from an employee of the IRS, that employee will be in big trouble if he or she is identified."

and

"Section (a)(3) of the law makes it a felony for any person who receives an illegally disclosed tax return or return information to publish that return or that information"
...then notes how no charges in the past when media published even 'illegally' disclosed tax info

-------

and... we don't even know if this -was- illegal disclosing... maybe it was Ivana...

here's Fox & Friends' Brian Kilmeade, resident of Trump's ass, explaining how this story is amazing for Trump... screwing over banks, investors, america, & abusing bankruptcies, etc was brilliant

http://twi...ump/status/1126183652042391553

that channel has to be the worst thing to ever happen to America... (worse than Trump as they gave us Trump... and are propping him up... and they will continue after he's finally yanked out of the defiled White House)

When all is said and done, Donald Trump will be exposed for who he is. Better sooner than later and it will be cuckservatives like Rugian and Obaminated who will say they knew all along.

But meanwhile they lick Trump's chode hungrily just like they did Dubya's.

1. Legal advice to Renzo. Oh that is a belly laugh.

2. Maybe you should heed your own advice, but I highly consider you not do that--you have a better chance of using your own critical thinking skills. Though I fear on the course you're taking in presenting this argument as in someway the NYT has violated law, that you cited, honestly makes me wonder if you know how this particular law works anyways.

Anyways, just as previous information that has been released about Trump's taxes, it appears it was given by someone who has legal access to it. Therefore, the argument presents itself was this actually 'unlawfully disclosed' or obtained. As it stands in appearance, the person(s) who released the information to journalist(s) had legal access to it to do so.
