Cherub Cow Member	Fri May 17 19:47:24 Being someone who watched all the Twilight midnight premieres...: cool. :p And even if you don't like Twilight on principle, Pattinson is a good actor — I think movies like "Good Time" and "The Rover" show that. ..a little disappointing that Affleck is stepping down, though (so not just Pattinson doing a prequel in the same timeline; he will be replacing Affleck in the Justice League universe?). I actually liked the gritty comic book Batman that they were building (sequences like his first introduction on a ceiling in "Batman v Superman" and his warehouse fight later in the same movie). It's also a potential interruption to the continuity if a 33-year-old Pattinson replaces a 46-year-old Affleck since they've already established that this Justice League Batman has been fighting in Gotham for a "decade"...

Maybe have him chasing down calendar man. Either way, Pattinson has done some good work over the past few years. I dont think he will be the reason the movie sucks, if it does suck.

Was really hoping they'd go deeper into the batman universe with more obscure/darker villains rather than use villains mass audiences have already seen.

And when they reset the series again, we all knew it would probably suck and it did. Same goes with Spider-Man 2. And Avengers Infinity War. Hollywood doesn't let things go. It milks them to death and destroys your childhood.
