Member | Fri May 24 15:56:29 Your math is off. 600 kilometers per hour is 373 miles per hour. |

Member | Fri May 24 16:02:03 "Like Comment Share" Funny how this feels more like a command than a request when it's coming from the Chinese Communist Party. |

kargen
Member | Sat May 25 14:46:37 That is one good example, China does know how to build a wall. Not so good on the upkeep though. |

the wanderer | Sat May 25 15:29:31 they need work on escalator and elevator technology ...perhaps learning the concept of safety |

Member | Mon May 27 00:59:36 "amtrak cant even do elderlysonic" The whattrak? Most people in the U.S. who need to travel long distances aren't so poor that they need to take the Amtrak. PWNED. Why slide slowly around on the ground when you can fly? LOL, Amtrak. |
smart dude
Member | Mon May 27 01:03:29 The U.S. (who invented airplanes, btw) doesn't need outdated rail lines for transportation, especially when you throw in its massive highway system and its enormous middle class who can, uh, afford to buy automobiles. Trains are for peasants. |

Member | Mon May 27 12:31:19 Are you seriously harping on about a single United incident? The entirety of China is one big internment camp. |

Member | Mon May 27 12:55:27 usa is basically the largest roided up brother that stasi germany ever had. |
The Children
Member | Mon May 27 12:56:15 and what about those flyin coffins that they knew were defect and still let airports and airlines around the world fly them. shithole tactics? |

Member | Mon May 27 15:09:14 "aren't so poor that they need to take the Amtrak. " The really bad part about trains is they arnt even cheaper on most routes. The modern airliner gets 100 passenger miles per gallon and travels with a near perfect safety record at just under the speed of sound. For the same price as a train. Why you would use a train beyond a few hours is silly. |

the wanderer | Mon May 27 17:27:21 i'd like high-speed trains, air travel is a pain... especially w/ connecting flights |
kargen
Member | Mon May 27 23:01:18 Trains are kind of fun. Going from Colorado to Chicago I spent all night in the dining car. Was a small group there made up of a priest, a female bartender from a strip club, a guy that authors alternative health cook books, a former porn star (we opted out of watching some of his work), a guy that was a buyer or something for some hotels in Florida and a sixteen year old Amish boy. Was interesting the conversations we had. Plus you could bring your own alcohol on if you wanted to enjoy a few adult beverages. Usually I drive because I like being able to stop and take photographs and kind of zigzag my way there. I'd have to drive close to five hours to catch a flight anyway so when not in a hurry no need to fly. |
