Aka the greatest advertisement for Trumps reelection campaign ever conceived by a human mind.

Sadly, we no longer have any candidates that have called for using nuclear weapons against law-abiding gun owners, but that doesn't mean we won't still have plenty of rabid insanity to go around tonight. How far left will the Democratic frontrunners lean in a desperate effort to pander to their extremist base? What mind-boggingly idiotic proposals will they throw out in their attempts to stave off the deranged wrath of their terrorist-loving, America-hating primary voters tonight?

-Increasing the top tax rate to 80% to pay for free mansions and Ferraris for illegal immigrants?

-Mandatory sexual education classes for pre-schoolers (educational videos to be provided by blacked.com)?

-Giving every African-American family forty acres and a white slave in reparations?

-Classifying heterosexuality as a medical disorder?

-Legalizing non-essential abortions of fetuses aged weeks 21-89?

-Replacing all TV shows with reruns of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver?

Find out tonight on the Enemy of the People network!

Lower voting age to four, accept mail in ballots from anybody in the world that has ever visited the United States and allow people to vote for their dead relatives because that is what they would have wanted.
And of course popular vote wins.

“Replacing all TV shows with reruns of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver? ”

In the news today one can read about Republican senator introducing a bill which, among other things, would mandate every social platform limit people to 30 minutes of use a day by default, and *reset the timer every month* even if you change it. I think rugian confuses the parties on this issue. You cannot be trusted to even watch YouTube for more than half an hour, according to GOP, nanny state must protect you

Relevant section

“2) automatically limits the amount of time that
a user may spend on those platforms across all de-
vices to 30 minutes a day unless the user elects to
adjust or remove the time limit and, if the user
elects to increase or remove the time limit, resets the
time limit to 30 minutes a day on the first day of
every month;”

Way to take shit out of context there CrownRoyal, really top notch job there.
I just read the bill. It is a bill proposed to end social media from taking advantage of people through various means.
The part you mentioned says the site must allow a user to set a daily limit that needs to be reset weekly or monthly. The default would be thirty minutes. So when you log into a social media site once each month you would have to change the default setting and give yourself how ever much time you want.

The whole bill is silly and mostly pointless. People should be accountable for their own actions. We don't need the government trying to babysit us on the internet.

The bill has not one fucking thing to do with what you insinuated.

Some nobody senator putting for a random piece of legislation that will assuredly die in committee is not exactly the same thing as multiple Democratic frontrunners in the race for becoming President of the United States going completely off the rails by advocating things like open borders, eliminating private health insurance, and "reproductive justice."

Absolutely. But then again, I was replying to the charge of Democrats forcing your ass to watch something they like on tv, not to anything you typed in your last post. So, don’t get defensive

Nah you cherry picked and you know it. You didn't think anybody would go read the bill and was suggesting something more than what the bill represents.

Either way I doubt the bill will ever get out of committee and that is exactly where it should die.

Cool story bro. Can you next try to "debunk" my claims that Democrats want to play interracial porn videos to preschoolers and legalize drowning 11-month old toddlers in bathtubs?

Also, the fact that you think that I can't find instances of Democrats supporting legislation that involves shoveling content down peoples' throats is mind-boggling. Here's a bill that was just passed by the California State Assembly that would force all public college students to take mandatory SJW indoctrination classes:

No, just your worries about media content being mandated by the feds. Lately, it is GOP that whines about it, not Dems.

"(1) allows a user to set a time limit that blocks the user’s own access to those platforms across all devices if the amount of time the user spends on those platforms within a certain period exceeds a time limit set by the user using 1-minute increments and, at minimum, allows the user to set such time limits for daily and weekly use;"

and yes you shared the bill but obviously you didn't expect anybody to go read it or you would have been more honest with what it said. Or maybe you are confused and don't know what you read. I suppose either is possible.

and it still doesn't come close to doing what you were insinuating.

"advocating things like open borders, eliminating private health insurance, and "reproductive justice."

no one is advocating open borders... and the one wanting to make it non-criminal means to put it back the way it was (a civil offense)

very few want to eliminate private health insurance completely, having a public option seems the most popular version & seems a very good idea imo

as for "reproductive justice"... i don't know what that is, but if it means abortions, then yes, we definitely need all ways possible to remove potential humans

Illegal crossing being a criminal offense combined with Trumps zero tolerance policy is what led to the child separation problem (which he lies about continuously, as with all things) so there is some rationale there... although probably better solutions than going back to civil

Castro is only one pushing it hat I know of, but others may agree, I haven't paid much attention to that issue

tw,

So...they support open borders. Glad we're in agreement.

Regarding health insurance:

"In the first two debates, leading Democratic presidential candidates Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders raised their hands when asked if they would abolish private health insurance in favor of a government-run health care plan."

http://qz....haunt-democratic-frontrunners/

That's 75% of the frontrunners right there...and Biden isn't exactly trying to stay in the center these days.

"as for "reproductive justice"... i don't know what that is,"

Neither did I until Julian Castro brought it up. But boy, do I have a treat for you:

"Reproductive justice is based on the theory of intersectionality, which states that people have different life experiences and opportunities based on how their identity categories, such as race, class, gender, and sexuality, interact with each other. Reproductive justice explains how people oppressed by the marginalization of their intersectional identities also experience higher levels of reproductive oppression – systemic oppression that impacts their reproductive lives. This means that it is often harder for oppressed people to access healthcare because of factors such as education, income, geographic location, immigration status, and potential language barriers, among others. Activist women of color created this framework because they felt they did not have as much choice as their privileged counterparts when it came to making decisions about their bodies, healthcare, and reproductive lives."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reproductive_justice

Mind you, that wasn't even the most insane thing Castro said on the subject...that honor goes to his belief that taxpayer funds should be available for transgenders to get abortions...amazing.

apparently we have different definitions of 'open borders'

Kamala walked it back for whatever that's worth... plus the plans aren't that relevant as no one is going to get a fringe plan through congress, a middle of the road one will be hard enough

Castro won't get the nomination, let's leave it at that :p. (Most troubling, he's a twin... we'd never know when his brother was filling in, or had killed him and taken over)

I'm not surprised mt prefers ignorance

at least he can hear some of it when Fox News plays the 'decriminalization' quotes without them noting it would still be an offense

seems Warren and Buttigieg (partially) were on board with that concept, to amend my above statements about it being just Castro
(plus maybe others)

It's possible... the low polling ones always get abused, kinda stupid as it's too early to consider polls and doesn't allow the lesser known s a chance to grow

Tulsi is really ripping into Kamala, some pretty good attacks if they fact check out... Kamala seems afraid of Tulsi, preferring to gnaw on Biden

Good strat, she got a jump in the polls from her cringy attack on him last time, selling t-shirts within half an hour of her one-liner, and virtually every MSM outlet saying she "won" the debate based on that line alone. Much less risky, although Biden got some good jabs in on Harris as well.

Tulsi is neck and neck with Castro and Yang, who have both gotten more time in hour that I've seen.

Biden is still stuck on the ACA. It admittedly was an improvement but didn't go far enough. I don't think he'll make it to the end.
None of the Medicare for all candidates explained what the people will save in the long run by eliminating employer based health insurance. Most people haven't got a clue what that cost.

lol, massive corruption at every level and Obaminated couldn't care less because he's in his tiny bubble.

All the stuff that's good, he inherited from Obama.

All the stuff he's done that's bad, we'll feel for years and the list is quite long but you'd never hear about it because you live in a bubble where anything that disagrees with your preconceptions, you simply ignore.
