tumbleweed the wanderer	Thu Oct 03 14:32:42 i don't believe she used that as defense, i didn't follow the case closely but i think it was prosecutors who brought up the sexting as part of their evidence she wasn't tired (had plans to go out or something) my point is, for whatever reasons, she clearly seems to have believed she was entering her own home & believed there to be an intruder... she had no criminal intentions, it was all mistakes this guy got 20 years for killing a man while robbing him... he may not have intended to murder either, but he's clearly way more of a criminal: http://www...ison-for-second-degree-murder/ 10 years seems plenty to me (even w/ parole at 5+) i don't see her remaining a risk (any more than any other Texan anyway), and 5+ years is not meaningless punishment
