here's a doozy of idiocy if you understand how NATO works...

Trump was asked if his selling out the Kurds would hurt our ability to get allies in the future, so Trump starts into his NATO spiel about how other countries aren't paying their shares... then starts claiming other nations owe us money, and they are delinquent, and he laments that if you don't pay the money it doesn't add up... yadda yadda

http://twi...ump/status/1182112396837625857

the problem: the percents he's citing is what nations are supposed to spend on their own military budgets, NO ONE owes us, NO ONE is ever delinquent, it doesn't add up as there's nothing to accumulate

he said this stupidity before but i assumed someone finally informed him of his ignorance... apparently not

and he's so proud of his IDIOTIC answer, he has tweeted it

(late in his word expulsion, he cites how the Kurds didn't help is Normandy, so they aren't really allies or something...)

Congrats on making it to #14, you obsessed crazy person.

In your honor, here's some good ol' fashioned shitposting by the president to ruin your day:

"From the day I announced I was running for President, I have NEVER had a good
@FoxNews Poll. Whoever their Pollster is, they suck. But @FoxNews is also much different than it used to be in the good old days. With people like Andrew Napolitano, who wanted to be a Supreme Court Justice & I turned him down (he’s been terrible ever since), Shep Smith,
@donnabrazile (who gave Crooked Hillary the debate questions & got fired from
@CNN), & others, @FoxNews doesn’t deliver for US anymore. It is so different than it used to be. Oh well, I’m President!

Turns out his leaving was in the works before the Murdoch meeting. I'm guessing it has more to do with his feud with Tucker and others on the opinion driven shows. According to Shepard he requested to be let out of his current contract and at first FOX News didn't want to then agreed.

To bad I watched him just about every day while eating lunch.

about Trump phone calls w/ foreign leaders:

"
This call, as well as others Trump has had with foreign leaders, was unusual in other ways, too. In past administrations, top foreign policy officials routinely briefed a president in person right before a call and provided written materials as well.

A former U.S. ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul worked at the NSC during the Obama administration and helped write briefs to prepare for dozens of calls with Russian leaders, including Vladimir Putin.

“Judging from the content of the Trump-Zelenskiy call, Trump was not reading talking points,” McFaul said. “No one on our team ever would have prepared a call package prompting Obama to ask for a personal favor that would help him win reelection. I also doubt that Trump’s NSC staff would have written or cleared such a talking point for their boss.”

One individual with firsthand knowledge of how the Trump calls with foreign leaders are handled said the president “hates” such “pre-briefs” and frequently has refused to do them. Trump doesn’t like written background materials either, preferring to handle the calls himself, often in the morning from the residence. Occasionally, while on the phone with foreign heads of state, Trump has handed the receiver to his daughter, Ivanka Trump, so she can talk with the leader, according to this individual.

The person said a six-page pre-brief with attachments was once prepared for Trump before a call to a foreign leader. But that turned out to be too long, as did a single-page version. Preparing pre-brief note cards that offered about three talking points for Trump to make on a call was the norm, according to this person, who feared retribution for describing this process and spoke on condition of anonymity.

The individual said that when Trump is done with the note cards, he often rips them up and tosses them in a burn bag. Staff who handle records have had to retrieve the burn bags from the residence, put the papers out on a table and tape them back together to preserve them as official presidential records, this person said.

Pompeo has shown to be pretty shitty too... here's him ducking a question repeatedly & mysteriously...

===================

Amons: In mid-February, you were in Warsaw, and so was Rudy Giuliani. During your time there, did you meet with Giuliani?

Pompeo: You know, I don't talk about who I meet with. I went to Warsaw for a particular purpose. It was an important mission. We brought together people all across the world to take down the world's largest state-sponsored terror, the Islamic Republic of Iran. That's what I worked on on that mission.

Amons: So you're not going to say whether or not you met with him?

Pompeo: So when I was in Warsaw, I had a singular focus. My focus was singularly on the work that we have done, effective work, to recover from what the Obama administration has done, which is to underwrite the world's largest state-sponsor of terror. We've stopped that, we're making real progress.

Amons: It sounds like you're not going to say?

Pompeo: When I was in Warsaw, we were working diligently to accomplish the mission to take down the terror regime that is inside the Islamic Republic of Iran. That's what I worked on, that's the only thing that I engaged in while I was there.

===================

obviously the answer must be "yes", no reason to not just say "no" amongst all those words (or if he was just completely adamant at never mentioning who he meets with he would've repeated that defense instead of repeating the 'focus' of his work)

Fiona Hill said John Bolton instructed her to tell the National Security Council’s attorney that Giuliani was acting in concert with White House chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, in a rogue operation with legal implications.

“I am not part of whatever drug deal Rudy and Mulvaney are cooking up,” Bolton instructed Hill to tell the NSC lawyer, according to her testimony.

She said that Bolton had told her on an earlier occasion: “Giuliani’s a hand grenade who’s going to blow everybody up.”

Hill also testified on Monday morning before three congressional committees about Trump’s decision, taken despite strenuous objections from aides including herself, to recall the US ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch.

The Washington Post reported that she had confronted Sondland over the Giuliani’s activities, which were not coordinated with officials charged with carrying out US foreign policy. Sondland is due to give his version of events on Thursday.

According to Fox News, Hill told congressional investigators that she and other officials went to the national security council lawyer with their concerns that the White House was seeking to prompt Ukraine to open investigations into Trump’s rivals.

Documents obtained by ProPublica show stark differences in how Donald Trump’s businesses reported some expenses, profits and occupancy figures for two Manhattan buildings, giving a lender different figures than they provided to New York City tax authorities. The discrepancies made the buildings appear more profitable to the lender — and less profitable to the officials who set the buildings’ property tax.

For instance, Trump told the lender that he took in twice as much rent from one building as he reported to tax authorities during the same year, 2017. He also gave conflicting occupancy figures for one of his signature skyscrapers, located at 40 Wall Street.

Lenders like to see a rising occupancy level as a sign of what they call “leasing momentum.” Sure enough, the company told a lender that 40 Wall Street had been 58.9% leased on Dec. 31, 2012, and then rose to 95% a few years later. The company told tax officials the building was 81% rented as of Jan. 5, 2013.

A dozen real estate professionals told ProPublica they saw no clear explanation for multiple inconsistencies in the documents. The discrepancies are “versions of fraud,” said Nancy Wallace, a professor of finance and real estate at the Haas School of Business at the University of California-Berkeley. “This kind of stuff is not OK.”

New York City’s property tax forms state that the person signing them “affirms the truth of the statements made” and that “false filings are subject to all applicable civil and criminal penalties.”

The punishments for lying to tax officials, or to lenders, can be significant, ranging from fines to criminal fraud charges. Two former Trump associates, Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort, are serving prison time for offenses that include falsifying tax and bank records, some of them related to real estate.

Trump's latest international incident:

So the wife of a US diplomat ran over a guy in England... then she fled & is hiding behind 'diplomatic immunity' (as vilified in Lethal Weapon :p)... so the Brits want her to return to face trial.

Trump had been dismissing it, noting it's common for Americans to drive on the wrong side of the road over there & kill people, etc. & admitting to doing it himself...

Anyhow, today the parents are in America pleading for justice & Trump offered them a surprise visit to the White House w/ secret motive of having them meet their son's killer so they could all meet & have a good time... even had camera crews ready for the reality show moment (not sure if Geraldo present)... the parents however were not on board & declined to meet & are now more upset.

Pelosi said Trump had a meltdown after learning R's overwhelmingly rebuked his Syria decision in a House vote & called her a third grade politician (which WH corrected as third -rate- politician) amongst other nonsense he always spews... then she said we should pray for his health.

so Pelosi made it her background

The point of the tweet stands.

We have literally been talking about impeachment since almost as far back as inauguration day, because Democrats and collaborationist media have been singularly obsessed with overturning the result of the 2016 election.

These people cannot possibly be entrusted to lead an impeachment inquiry. They dont care about facts or evidence, only at finding a way to arrive at a guilty decision. Indeed, their conduct of the "investigation" (more like witch hunt) has proven their inherent unfitness in the pursuit.

Donald J. Trump is easily the most persecuted president in modern history, and it's easy to see why. When you threaten the swamps power, the swamp will fight back. It is our role as patriotic Americans to support the president in this fight, and purge DC and Manhattan of the traitors in our midst once and for all.

"Senior Republican lawmakers are openly discussing the prospect of impeaching Hillary Clinton should she win the presidency, a stark indication that partisan warfare over her tenure as secretary of state will not end on Election Day.

Chairmen of two congressional committees said in media interviews this week they believe Clinton committed impeachable offenses in setting up and using a private email server for official State Department business.

And a third senior Republican, the chairman of a House Judiciary subcommittee, told The Washington Post he is personally convinced Clinton should be impeached for influence peddling involving her family foundation. He favors further congressional investigation into that matter.

“It is my honest opinion that the Clinton Foundation represents potentially one of the greatest examples of political corruption in American history,” said Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), who leads the Constitution and Civil Justice subcommittee. “Now that perspective may be disproven, time will tell. But given that conviction on my part, I think all options are definitely on the table.”

The impeachment talk is the latest sign that Clinton will not be handed a clean slate — let alone an extended honeymoon — by Republican lawmakers should she win the presidency.

It comes after months of accusations from GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has repeatedly referred to his rival as “Crooked Hillary” before and after federal investigators announced they would not charge Clinton or her associates over the email matter.."

this is fully consistent w/ Trump behavior, he just wants the headlines, doesn't care if any basis for the investigation or if anything found (see Ted Cruz's father killing JFK, or being Canadian, or wanting numerous FBI people investigated, or the DNC server nonsense, etc)

"Impeachment deposition delayed after Republicans storm proceedings

Dozens of House Republicans on Wednesday stormed the secure facility inside the Capitol where impeachment investigators have been deposing witnesses, forcing a delay to the proceedings on the heels of damning new revelations that could further imperil President Donald Trump."

it's not like Dems are all invited in & all R's excluded... the committee members of both parties are all who are there, same as ever

appears capo Matt Gaetz is one of them, he tried to force his way into a prior one... gotta keep the boss informed of what witnesses are saying i guess

So where was the security guards? Why didn’t they shoot them?

I mean, if a bunch of antifa people would storm a secure facility where investigators are doing an important job, wouldn’t they get shot?

"why are there Republicans who support the inquiry if it's all nonsense?"

because they think it will farther damage the Democrats.

I'm all for an official inquiry. That means take the vote, open the process beyond leaked Democrat talking points and allow Republicans to be an equal part of the process.

Funny thing is about those "damning" revelations. Almost every news agency used the word damning and devastating in describing the testimony. Almost as if they had been given predetermined talking points. Hell not even almost. They were given talking points. Happens a lot with liberal media where they all use the exact same words and it isn't just because they are picking up an AP feed.

That is one of those which side do you believe things because we are not given the information. Democrats are saying it is damning. Republicans are saying his statement fell apart when he was questioned. We see only a little tiny bit of what the Democrats want us to see so we don't know.

That is why the inquiry should be made official and open so we the people can finally discern the facts for ourselves.

It is always a good laugh when you think someone else is the insane one. You really can't see how far out there you are.

Everything we are getting is political spin and rhetoric. If it were otherwise they wouldn't mind letting us in.

i didn't care about this one at first, but he turned it into another exhibit of his unfitness

video of Trump claiming he's building the wall in Colorado:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjlO9QhFmmU

ok, he mispoke, no biggie... but of course he's an idiot child who can't admit the slightest error, so here he is claiming it was a joke:

"
(Kiddingly) We’re building a Wall in Colorado”(then stated, “we’re not building a Wall in Kansas but they get the benefit of the Wall we’re building on the Border”) refered to people in the very packed auditorium, from Colorado & Kansas, getting the benefit of the Border Wall!
"
~ Trump tweet

(he was about to say that 'not building in Kansas' part at end of that clip but it is in no way connected to the Colorado part, there is no joke, there is no punchline, there is no laughter)

truly pathetic... & mental illness

"you are insane because you believe no Rs support the inquiry for legitimate concerns"

I didn't say that, we were generalizing.

"you are insane because you don't think Putin preferred Trump"

I've been saying since the beginning Putin was doing everything he could to undermine all candidates. He is still doing all he can to undermine President Trump. If you don't believe that you have less brainpower than a barnacle.

"you are insane because you don't think the words of the President matter"

I've never said that. I said his tweets are not official policy and you would be happier if you just thought of them as fodder.

"you are insane because you don't think Trump was in on the porn star payoffs (when it's on tape)"

I said from the beginning on this one we all knew there was a payoff. Go back and look. I also said the payoff was not illegal nor did President Trump commit campaign fraud in doing so. Courts agreed with me.

"you are insane because you think Trump is concerned about climate change"

I've never opined on President Trump's views on the climate as far as I can recall. If I did I will bet I didn't tout him as some kind of environmental advocate.

"and I'm sure there's plenty more if I reviewed your records"

Review my record. It won't do you any good though. Your current mental state your brain is going to cause you to hallucinate and think you read something else anyway. It is your thing.

"I didn't say that, we were generalizing."

i wasn't generalizing... there should be exactly zero R's saying they are concerned about the behavior if it's all nonsense

---

"I've been saying since the beginning Putin was doing everything he could to undermine all candidates"

right, you will not acknowledge he favored Trump at all (let alone incredibly massively, Trump would have been his pick out of every eligible candidate who has ever existed)

---

"I said his tweets are not official policy and you would be happier if you just thought of them as fodder."

exactly... you think they should be ignored... a mentally-ill continually-lying idiot filling the minds of a horde of morons w/ false info from his position as President is no biggie for you

---

"I said from the beginning..."

you said you though Cohen did it on his own to gain favor (even though he sought reimbursement & is on tape discussing w/ Trump)

---

"I've never opined on President Trump's views on the climate"

you gave a crazy view of why Trump 'left' the Paris Accord (i believe you said he didn't think it was strong enough, not certain though)... the correct answer is because he does not care one iota about climate change (nor ever had any environmental concerns on anything)

telling hordes of stupid people that he wants clean air & water doesn't count, that's as meaningful as when he claimed the bible was his favorite book

"you gave a crazy view of why Trump 'left' the Paris Accord"

I stated why the Paris Accord was a shit agreement and said I was glad we were out of it. A bit of a difference there.

And the Paris Accord was a shit agreement. It was not binding and actually allowed the worst polluters to increase their carbon output. It was another attempt to turn carbon emissions into a commodity so rich people could get richer while doing not one damn thing to help the environment.

crown you are missing the point. Not surprising. The accord allowed countries to say they were doing something to help the environment when actually they set their cap higher than emissions already being produced.
Then all the supposed environmentalists that pushed for the Paris Accord would brag about how many countries are on board and complying knowing full well the vast majority of humanity would never figure out the accord allowed for increased carbon emissions.
It was about trying to get rich and nothing else.

You are still missing the point. I'm hoping on purpose but have my doubts.

The point is the accord would fool the gullible (look in a mirror) into thinking something was being done about carbon emissions while allowing rich people to profit off of governments increasing carbon emissions. That so many people were pissed that the US dropped out shows how effective this asshats were at fooling the public. There are still people that think the Paris Accord would be good for the environment.

Why are you continuing to spew drivel? Non binding agreement by definition allows all kinds of things. Donald withdrew from the accord because “The Paris accord will undermine (the U.S.) economy," and "puts (the U.S.) at a permanent disadvantage."[1] (wiki). You should write to him explaining that no disadvantage was coming, the agreement is non binding.

President Trump withdrew because it was a bullshit agreement. Why pretend to do something? Why stay in some organization when you have no intention of taking part.
And it saved the US a few billion getting out.

"kargen feels..."

you have not a fucking clue. Of course doing nothing and pretending to do something is worse than just doing nothing. Even worse is increasing the problem and pretending you are fixing it. That is what the Paris Accord would do. It allowed countries to put a positive spin on increasing pollution levels.

What will actually work is grass roots efforts to change the way individual people behave and live. Legislating the problem away isn't going to work. Especially when most those doing the legislation are looking out for their pocketbooks instead of the environment.

I'll probably be gone for a couple of days so I expect with Tumbleweeds obsessive and delusional actions we will be half way through #15 as he manufactures twenty new things to get all bent out of shape about.

not sure the Green New Deal had any mandates either, but R's hate the idea of even trying to move to cleaner energy

Trump called Mattis in summer 2018 and directed him to "screw Amazon" out of $10 billion cloud contract.

"Relaying the story to us during Small Group, Mattis said, 'We're not going to do that. This will be done by the book, both legally and ethically."

story via a staffer of Mattis... he could be lying, yet sounds exactly like Trump (pretty sure Trump openly opposed Amazon getting that deal, certainly not the first i heard of his opposition, & surprise! they didn't get it) so yeah, it probably happened
