No, actually. The polls consistently show a majority against brexit. But it's split amongst support for a number of different parties and fptp electoral system means that the conservatives can win 60% of seats on 45% of the votes.

Take a look at the vote shares. 53% for remain supporting parties. Tory vote share is under 43%.

That's how fptp works. So we will now leave the EU with a majority opposed to that.
