Jacob goes to Washington...lol

http://m.w...ish-historic-oval-office-visi/

This isn't a bad idea. I Grew up in Perkasie, PA which isnt far from Amish country. They are obviously a conservative group and I feel if they were motivated for an election they would be a small but solid voting block. Especially in PA.

"they enjoy a kinship in their Christian faith and work ethic"

“You walked in there, there was the Bible, laying open, well used”

allow me to be sick...

however, their interest in the stock market & repeating of Fox News talking points makes me suspect these aren't your traditional Amish

probably the fraud types attracted to a fellow fraud

Also mennonites ( think Amish lite) have a strong presence in SEPA ( where im from) my accountant was Mennonite and they ran numerous stores where I grew up.

All politics aside generally the nicest people you could ever meet, dalt of the earth.

I grew up in Penndel and lived there till I was 41. Any dealings I had with the Amish were all good.

The two other Amish that like Trump have exactly the same names as these two.

What a coincidence.

http://gro...amish-population-profile-2018/

The estimated population of the Amish of North America (adults and children) as of June 2018 is 330,270. This is an increase of approximately 11,880 since 2017, a growth rate of 3.73 percent.

Approximately 63 percent of the population lives in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. oops..., for the unstable genius. :)

There are a few groups here in Maine. Where ever they can find lower priced farmland they will go to.
Pennsylvania real estate prices pushed many of them to move out of state.

Not to denigrate the great state of Maine, but you're in a pretty shitty place in life when rural Pennsylvania is considered to be a higher cost option than your locality.

Good to hear that SOMEONE is moving to Maine though. By 2060 the state will consist entirely of Somalis and Amish.

so he has a pair of shills in the Amish community... sounds like that black pastor, Darrell Scott, who loves Trump & oozes grifter

Tom:

What you are seeing is a growth in settlements, not settlements moving. Their populations are growing and spreading. I'm sure that decent and well priced agriculture land determines new settlement locations.

According to a 2019 study.

everyone coming out to advocate for Trump should probably be criminally investigated... just on a profiling rationale

Trump's first 2 supporters in congress have both pled guilty to crimes in recent months (Duncan Hunter & Chris Collins), in addition to all his other associates & supporters we know have been arrested

The two named amish guys were in the headlines in 2018 too for supporting Trump.

So we can probably confirm that at least two Amish support Trump.

One of them was involved in a buggy versus car crash in 2018 too. Head trauma may not be the explanation.

is this the buggy incident?

"Police haven’t announced Levi Miller and John Miller’s"

"John Miller" was one of Trump's aliases... it's all coming together

(note, i realize that could be a different Levi Miller :p)

TW:

Neither party is safe from corrupt politicians. It is easy to google convicted democratic politicians.

Why do you think that Presidents are responsible for the crimes committed by those who belong to their party of politics? No need to answer.

Focusing on Presidential crimes could strengthen your position, or maybe not.

"It is easy to google convicted democratic politicians"

that's a little broad... people in Trump's orbit have an unusually high criminality rate was my point on profiling

plus ones not yet arrested are clearly quite disgusting... Paula White, Stephen Miller, Don Jr, Hannity, Seb Gorka, etc.

Convicted was the key word.

Do your research:

Executive branch criminal activities by Presidential Administrations.

I can lead you to the history, but that is as far as it goes. It is a little early for the Trump Executive branch to be recorded in history.

Kind of like leading a donkey to the water and not being able to make them drink.

basically all the ones arrested so far have been convicted... most pleading guilty

Manafort & Stone needing trial

i guess Netanyahu still pending... Kraft possibly escaping by getting evidence of his guilt excluded
(but those two not as much Trump associates as others)

not trying to make any historical declarations, just noting that Trump associates tend to be criminal trash just like himself

The general lesson being that when FBI jackboots show up at your place, stonewall their friendly demeanors, because they can't wait to nail you for "false statements".

Out of curiosity, are ‘false statements’ false statements or true statements?

Much easier to just say "can't recall" 84% of the time and avoid any grey areas

In general if the Amish are accused of a crime while they wont lie they will not really defend themselves.

They are against violence to ridiculous level. If they are attacked they will not defend themselves.

Now as for them voting Republican...IF THEY DO VOTE AT ALL...they tend to steer clear of politics especially national as they are rathwr reclusive. However they would not align with most democratic ideals.

Gays, trans LGBT , cat people etc. Would be frowned upon.

They refuse SS and Medicare ( and also dont pay).

They refuse food stamps.

They were exempt from Obama care ( they don't believe in insurance or charging interest etc)

Now Trumps well used bible was a set up, honestly Pence is probably more their guy...but all politicians stage that sort of bs.

But I wouldn't see them supporting say Hillary or Biden.

"Now Trumps well used bible was a set up"

The bible was a Pence thing. From the article.

"After the Oval Office meeting, Mr. Pence escorted the men to his office for some more discussions and prayers.

“You walked in there, there was the Bible, laying open, well used,” Mr. Miller said. “He did a prayer for us. The vice president, standing in his room, doing a prayer. If that is not a humbling experience.”"

Karen, my mistake, well like i said Pence is more there cup of coffee ( id say tea but the Amish fucking love coffee...lol)

There is a place in Lancaster called Shady maple....its the best food I may have ever had, also free on your bday. Near that is a flea market called the green dragon a bunch of cool stuff, Amish vendors. I remember I used to get entire bulbs of saffron for like 2 bucks!

When I visit a friend in Wisconsin I hit a Mennonite general goods store and load up on some of the canned goods they have along with some other stuff.

I think quite a bit of the support President Trump gets from evangelical people is because of Pence being VP.

There are Amish, Mennonite, and Quaker communities within 50 miles of my home. I live very close to the borders of two other States only separated by the Mississippi river. I've done business with all of them throughout the years.

I had figured it out. :)

Here is a little trivia for you.

Nixon's mother was a Quaker, and his father converted from Methodist to the Quaker faith.

"My ancient ancestors was Adam & Eve."

I've only managed to trace my roots as far back as Noah.
