It is being kicked around now that Nancy has been holding up sending the articles over until after the next debate. Sending the articles over earlier would detract from the debate.

Personally I don't think that entered her mind at all. She knows the impeachment is a bust and thinks playing tough will rally the Democrats around her. She sees her support waning so even if the Democrats keep the house she would probably be out as speaker. She didn't want impeachment but is trying to use it to her advantage within the party to remain speaker of the house. It backfired on her.

There is nowhere near enough actual evidence to support the articles of impeachment. In short what they offered up as impeachable is really only poor manners. The obstruction article is complete bullshit as nobody was ever complied by courts to cooperate. Without that court ruling there is no obstruction.
