In General foriegn policy is going his way. Some credit is due to him/ his team. Some things he has taken advantage of a situation ( as he should) but to be honest some shit is just pure luck.

Now I do think overall Iran strategy has been working to its end, which is to economically weaken them and sew dissent in the country towards the regime.

But lets take a look at this recent event. Soleimani , while they may be at a minor disadvantage politically it didn't sit well.

Now one could argue he was baiting them to attack the US and garner support perhaps bit they fucked this up better than anyone could have planned it.

As for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan have showing strong attitudes against Beijing and pro western ideals that will have long lastime effects. I would like to see him do more to bolster this but so far he had beem satisfactory.

We don't really want a weak poor China, we just want a more open and less commie/authoritarian China.

Europe? Well they hate us sort of, but what of it. Germany is building thwir pipelime but also tripling its pirchases of US LNG.

Gone well?

His trade wars have been a failure, he got lucky with Iran, his "tactics" with NK have been an embarrassing disaster.

How is the Iran strategy working? I thought he wanted a new nuclear deal, is he one step closer to it now?

As for Germany: FUCK OFF! We will get our pipeline and the cheap Russian gas and Trump can kiss our ass.

Daemon, Actually the Iran strategy is goimg well. He doesn't want a new nuclear deal unless Iran abandomms nuclearization entirely. Its much easier to habe the Iranian people pressure their government over mear economic collapse.

As for Germany, they will get the pipeline. But they will still buy more and more US gas.

Iran is renuclearizing because he fucked up the deal. Ignoring headlines, that is the true long-term consequence of Trump and will fuck up the middle east for many years to come.

"Going well ..." If you're a short-sighted reactionary looking confirmation of how a 73-year-old con man is somehow a good president.

It's a huge stategic failure.

lol on so many levels:

" (CNN)More than a dozen Saudi servicemen training at US military installations will be expelled from the United States after a review that followed the deadly shooting last month at a Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, multiple sources told CNN.
The Saudis are not accused of aiding the 21-year-old Saudi Air Force second lieutenant who killed three American sailors in the December shooting, two sources said, but some are said to have connections to extremist movements, according to a person familiar with the situation.
A number are also accused of possessing child pornography, according to a defense official and the person familiar with the situation. The FBI and Justice Department declined to comment.

"In the wake of the Pensacola tragedy, the Department of Defense restricted to classroom training programs foreign military students from Saudi Arabia while we conducted a review and enhancement of our foreign student vetting procedures," said Lt. Col. Robert Carver, a spokesman for the Department of Defense. "That training pause is still in place while we implement new screening and security measures."
About a dozen Saudi trainees at the Pensacola base had been confined to their quarters as the FBI investigated the shooting as a potential terror attack, and the Pentagon initiated a review of all Saudi military trainees in the country, numbering around 850 students.

The Justice Department is expected to conclude that the Pensacola shooting was in fact an act of terrorism, according to a US official.
No co-conspirators have been charged as part of the investigation, and the Saudi government has pledged its full support.

CNN's Alex Marquardt and Barbara Starr contributed to this report."
