Utopia Talk / Politics / Would a Boeing pull this off?

I know that it is much thanks to the pilot that it went well, but having an Airbus surely must help? Not sure a pilot could do this with a Boeing.

Daayum... look at that landing. He is landing the airliner sideways! lol

Do you have any knowledge whatsoever about aircraft or aviation? Or is this just another entry in your long series of America-obsessed ramblings?

I mean it's a cool video, but what on earth compels you to bring Boeing into this? Oh it's an American company. Coincidence? Any reason whatsoever to believe a pilot in a Boeing couldn't pull off the same maneuver? No.

Could your agenda be any clearer? I Googled for 5 seconds and found this video. It's a Boeing landing sideways:

Planes are designed to fly in shitty weather and pilots are trained to land them. It looks cool but there's nothing unremarkable about the video. If Boeings couldn't land in a fucking crosswind, then there would be planes crashing every single day. It wouldn't even be newsworthy.

A Boeing could do that upside down!

Wait, too soon?

Yeah, I've been on airliners that have landed like that. Boeings, in fact. I'm guessing most people that have flown throughout their lives even a moderate amount have.

As far as I know there is only one plane designed with swiveling landing gears that adjust for crosswinds. It is a Boeing design.

I’m not convinced.

I was wrong. There seems to be two with swiveling landing gears. Boeing B52H and Lockheed Martin C-5 Galaxy. Of course they aren't domestic transports.

Obvious troll is obvious. And unconvinced. Obviously.
